Resident Evil 3 is another excellent Capcom title. Despite being a little short, it is challenging and encourages the player to finish it more than once. The story remains interesting and the gameplay is basically the same as in Resident Evil 2 Remake with some improvements (which is not a bad thing). The graphics and the sound effects are incredible. To make up for the short single-player campaign, Capcom presents us with the RE Resistance multiplayer, which has an interesting proposal and is a great addition to the package, but its long learning curve can keep some players away.

Overall, Resident Evil 3 Remake is still good. But you may want to keep in mind the short length of gameplay it has before purchasing it at full price.
In the end, Resident Evil 3 suffers from not being as good as its predecessor. It's well-made with likable charismatic protagonists and is quite the roller coaster ride but when compared to the tense full-on survival horror game that preceded it, Resident Evil 3 feels like a step back. Still, if you're a fan and are dying for more, this is a solid game that will undoubtedly scratch that itch.
Undoubtedly the best way to play Resident Evil 3 on Switch 2 is via this edition albeit with meagre trimmings. Despite the handheld system, it still begs to be on the big screen running from the dock, and the gamepad makes for easier long gaming sessions.
The fact Resident Evil 3 is considered to be the weakest of the recent Resident Evil remakes showcases how high Capcom set the bar for their titles. This is still, by and large, a pretty fantastic survival horror action hybrid, just marred by an annoying recurring boss and a short runtime. It looks and runs well enough on Switch 2, and its reduced pricetag basically makes up for the aforementioned reduced amount of content when compared to other Resident Evil titles. In short, it’s still a damn good title. If you haven’t played it yet, playing it for the first time on the Switch 2 is an easy recommendation.
Resident Evil 3 feels like a patchwork, and it's hard to take Nemesis seriously when a shop door stops him. Jill is its greatest redeemer. I liked it a lot, but wait for a good sale.

Overall, don’t bother with this one if you haven’t played any of the prior Resident Evil games. It’s okay; it’s not a bad game. It just feels incomplete, and even if you don’t have a point of reference, Resident Evil 3 Remake offers little to no value after the insultingly short campaign.
Resident Evil 3 is a thrill ride that refuses to let you stop for a breath, and the Switch 2 port is practically perfect in every way.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is a good game, not a great one — the return to Raccoon City is thrilling, Nemesis is terrifying in his finest moments, but the game leaves you wanting more of everything it does well.

The Resident Evil 3 remake is an outstanding game, but it’s also not a game for everyone. First of all, the game looks amazing, and it plays great as well. The smooth “modern” controls are a huge step up from the tank controls seen back in the day, and the action aspect of the gameplay has even improved greatly because of it. The game is simply fun to play from start to finish, and I often found myself just admiring the detail put into this recreated world. Assuming you like the classic RE style gameplay, there’s really nothing to complain about here.
Resident Evil 3 is a controversial step back from its predecessor's remake. While some narrative changes are commendable, the overall experience feels rushed and lacks the depth of the original. Resident Evil Resistance does little to justify the high cost.

Resident Evil 3’s remake is the weakest of the recent trilogy (2, 3, & 4), but it’s still a damned good time. With it coming to Game Pass I don’t feel bad recommending a download, as its short run time means you can finish it easily enough in a night or two.
Resident Evil 3 utilises a lot of components from last year’s Resident Evil 2 but provides some new mechanics and fresh twists to the story to make it feel like it’s own thing. It’s a great third person horror experience that tells the story it wants to tell and doesn’t overstay it’s welcome. While I would have loved if the fear of the Nemesis was maintained for the whole experience and that the game strayed into the action shooter genre at times rather than the kind of horror experienced in Resident Evil 2 I still had a blast with the game and if you like zombie based horror games, I think you will too.
The singleplayer campaign is an action-horror adventure that grabs you and doesn't let you go with scary monsters, a great variaty of maps and a good story. Even though the campaign is short, the content in it is quality. Resident Evil Resistance makes up for the short campaign.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is an "improved" remake in all respects to the original game. Capcom provided a gaming experience that fans of the series will love, adding more gameplay elements with stunning graphics and an interesting story, in general, you will feel like you are inside a horror movie Despite the game's short length and the lack of content which spoiled some of the experience.

Multiplayer experiments aside, Resident Evil 3 itself should delight anyone who's playing it for the first time or those who already know its story inside and out. It's easier than ever to become immersed in Raccoon City and Resident Evil mechanics have never felt as fluid as they do in this game. Resident Evil 3 proves that Resident Evil 2 wasn't just a one-off success of a remake and shows that Capcom has a winning formula on its hands.
Resident Evil 3 turns the action up but diminishes the Nemesis and loses some of its luster in the process but still delivers a solid remake that will likely divide fans of the franchise.
The game is more of a great addition to the Resident Evil 2 remake because of how short the game is, how shallow the story is and how it doesn't include all the story details from the original game, but it presented noticeable improvements in terms of graphics and sounds while attainting the exquisite gameplay style that was present in RE2 Remake, the main villain is a huge factor in why the game should be in your collection, but not for its full price.

Resident Evil 3 does not only disobey its source but also does not absolutely stick to the landing as a self-contained horror experiment.
Resident Evil 3 makes yet another case for Capcom's immense talent in updating the classics to a modern standard. Everything from the characters to the visuals, the atmosphere and the addictive gameplay loop here reflect the original game's big ambitions. The story here gets some nice tweaks along with the freakishly awesome design of Nemesis, which newer players will also find rewarding.
