Predator: Hunting Grounds Reviews
A clever premise can't meet the expectations of its ever-evolving namesake. The end result: a most tedious and ugly game.
Predator: Hunting Grounds feels like a rough and empty game that is held up by its adherence to the original film's tone and atmosphere. But the overall quality hits more like the forgettable sequels, unfortunately.
Easily the most authentic Predator game ever made but also a paper-thin multiplayer game that offers far too little content and variety for its asking price.
Predator: Hunting Grounds offers brief moments of blockbuster action, but ultimately underwhelms more than it excites.
Predator: Hunting Grounds occasionally offers a satisfying and violent asymmetrical multiplayer showdown, but doesn't look or play well while doing so. Hardcore fans of the series might get some value out of this title, if they're patient enough to wait in the long matchmaking queues.
Predator: Hunting Grounds has solid legs but repetitive objectives and poor balancing muddy what could have been a new take on asymmetrical multiplayer.
There’s love for the franchise here for sure, it just needed more time in the oven to produce a quality product of that love.
Predator: Hunting Ground is a haphazard collection of intriguing yet incomplete concepts slapped together into a mediocre experience.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is a lot of fun to play, but it does have many technical problems that really drag it down.
Few contents compared to the competition. Various structural, as well as technical, issues. Fun only in the short term, and only with the right company.

There is a glimmer of a diamond in Predator: Hunting Grounds, but it is surrounded by a lot of rough. The game is a lot of fun when you're playing with friends or even a well-coordinated group as the Fireteam, but balance issues with how the Predator can actually hunt the team or how the Fireteam can respond to an ill-equipped Predator truly keep it in a rough place as an asymmetrical multiplayer title. It has great ideas at its core but the execution at this stage isn't working, and with fine-tuning, it could be top tier.
Predator: Hunting Grounds isn't bad at all, but it desperately needs more content and bugfixing. The core gameplay is very promising, though.

Predator is very popular movie and game character. But this time even his hand blades can't persuade to buy Hunting Grounds. Becouse lack of content and poor stability.

I enjoyed my time with Predator: Hunting Grounds. It's the first asynchronous multiplayer title in a while that has appealed to me, and it has already shown that it has its potential for fun. Nonetheless, it's a hard sell for a price of $40.
I was really hoping that this game would make me feel like a "goddamned sexual Tyrannosaurus" but unfortunately I'm sure Jesse Ventura's character would compare it to a wildly politically incorrect and anachronistic slur instead.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is bolstered by its unique gameplay dynamics and beloved license, but falls flat thanks to unbalanced and repetitive matches as well as a general lack of polish.
At its best, Predator: Hunting Grounds is a tense asymmetrical shooter that forces you to pay attention to your surroundings in a dense, jungle environment. At its worst, it’s a mess of waiting, loading and gunning down shoddy AI-villains in forgettable missions.
Predator: Hunting Grounds has remarkable potential. It has all the right ideas in place but desperately needs further polish and a dedicated player base to flesh it out. The thoughts I’ve shared probably sound incredibly critical, but I oddly feel like sticking around to see where it goes.
Predator Hunting Grounds could have been a good product, thanks to the franchise from which it draws inspiration, staging an engaging show capable of bringing to the field one of the most fascinating alien in the Hollywood history. Unfortunately, the realization of this title, as its brother Friday 13: The Game, makes it hard to be bought at full price, leaving us only the hope a good post launch support to save it from auto-destruction.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is a multiplayer game to enjoy with friends. Sowing terror as a Predator by going through the jungle could be great, but the game needs to improve a few points. Although the title has major shortcomings, such as the lack of maps or long matchmaking times, the studio has designed a game that will please fans of Friday the 13th: The Game.
