Overall I can say there definitely isn’t any OBJECTION to the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. The characters are endearing, the cases are interesting and pretty well formed, the music is great, and the 2D backgrounds and 3D characters provide a wealth of visual satisfaction. While the text speed may be a little slow for some, there were no real inherent issues to the game that I could find. The Ace Attorney series may be rather niche, but it’s also one that’s easily enjoyable.
After half a decade of without Ace Attorney games, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles not only quenches the thirst for a quality adventure in the courtroom, but also gives us a fresh look at the serie's potential, by introducing a charismatic new cast, unprecedented mechanics and a cultural paradigm. Both longtime fans and newcomers to the series will love this great and complete package.

The plot succeeds in entertaining the player, while the gameplay challenges them resulting in an overall satisfying experience. Thanks to this being a prequel in the franchise, it’s a great point to jump into the series. Even for series veterans, there’s a lot to love here, and even a few familiar references.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles offers an exciting evolution to the traditional formula, with this courtroom drama offering plenty of fun across its meaty story. Players can expect to spend over forty hours unravelling each case, but that time will fly by thanks to how well written the characters are, how enjoyable gathering evidence is, and how exciting the courtroom showdowns can be. The new features are just the cherry on top, with the Dance of Deduction and Summation Examination offering some of the game’s finest moments. Whilst I have no doubt that the game won’t be for everyone thanks to the sheer amount of reading involved, fans of the series are sure to love this new venture into the life of being an ‘Ace Attorney’.
It feels fantastic to finally play The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles; it was just as amazing as any fan would expect out of the series. The dev team has continuously created wildly clever and hilariously punny titles up to this point, and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is no exception. Although I do feel that there is a bit more hand-holding in this series than previous games, it shouldn’t give any fans pause. In fact, if you are a fan, there’s literally no reason not to buy this game, and if you’re new to the series, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is mechanically well-suited to be your first foray into the franchise. When it comes down to it, playing The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is simply elementary — no objections here!
Ace Attorney Chronicles is a journey back in time, a lovely example of what happens when you sink into the pages of classics like Oliver Twist and explore a place and a time you don't know, but with the humor and color typical of anime. The case that comes to mind is Samurai Champloo, set during the shogunate and with many examples of what was lived in Feudal Japan, but without seeking to be a kind of history in shape. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is to be one day in a courthouse in Japan and then in London, with the intensity of the trials, the satisfaction of finding the contradictions in the testimonies, watching the scales of the jury tip in your favor, dancing for the deductions and the reward of shouting objection!

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is simply the best experience one can get from the series. It has a cohesive and exciting story with fun and well-written characters. The UI and game mechanics are the most accessible in the series, and the graphics are top-notch. It is a must-buy for fans, and even if you haven’t played any Ace Attorney games yet, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is an excellent game to start.

Moving the point-of-view from a lauded white celebrity to a Japanese man out of his depth is a bold move, and one that shows the glaring flaws in the court system and the inherent racist sentiment that guides it. There's not a single case that feels like a throwaway-each serves as a chapter in Naruhodo's path to understanding his own drive for his profession, and carts the player along a grand adventure that overcomes the somewhat static nature present in the original trilogy. It's an absolute must play for any mystery fan out there.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles exemplifies Capcom's remarkable efforts in delivering such a difficult localization. These are some of the best games in the series, and they're now available to everyone.
A triumphant return of the series' creator, one that goes toe-to-toe with the first trilogy while offering a different, though contemporary, experience. A great ride throughout.
