Dying Light 2 isn’t a massive reinvention of the original game, but honestly, it didn’t even need to be. It successfully manages to improve on the core aspects that made its predecessor so appealing, adding more content, set pieces, and improving on its presentation, whilst delivering that same thrilling feeling that captivated us all those years ago. The story may fall flat at times, but the fun of free running around the open world of Villedor will still keep me busy for many hours to come.

In a few short words, Dying Light 2: Stay Human surpassed my expectations. For those that have been on the fence as to whether or not make a return to this world after the first I would highly recommend it. Combining the fast paced parkour features of the first in a world that allows you to take it at your own pace was a great combination that I’ll not soon be leaving as I continue through my version of the journey wrapping up side stories left behind. Follow up article for multiplayer and co-op: Dying Light 2: Stay Human – Better with a Partner? https://chalgyr.com/2022/02/article-betterwithapartner-dyinglight2.html It’s just as easy to recommend Dying Light 2: Stay Human as a multiplayer experience. With plenty of things to see and do, one person’s world could be different than another and while certain objects will only ever unlock “once” such as your injectors for health or stamina upgrades, nothing is stopping you from helping out a partner in order to find theirs and grabbing a ton of loot while you are at it.

With Dying Light 2 Techland has surely outdone themselves by creating a game that is bigger, and better than the prequel.

A definitive improvement from the first game, with enhanced parkour mechanics, weapon customization and melee combat.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is probably the first game of this year that you must play. It just has too good of a narrative to pass by, and it’s always a good time to meet new characters and get presented to a cool world. For those who enjoy titles where the plot is vital such as The Witcher 3, The Last of Us, Uncharted, or God of War, then this game will be right up your alley. Also, if you are looking for Game of Thrones in a video game format, then Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a perfect recipe for that.

Dying Light 2 is a fantastic title that manages to improve almost every aspect of the original game. It is one of the most ambitious and beautiful open world games I have ever played, and if you were a fan of the first game, then you should definitely give this one a try. Not only does it blend combat, exploration and storytelling in a superb way, but it also delivers an unforgettable experience that will remain in my heart for years to come.

Dying Light 2 is no longer the surprise the first entry was, but it manages to enhance the formula that turned it great and delivers a story that is both action-packed and fun.

You may not want to spend the 500 hours that Techland suggested is possible playing Dying Light 2, completing every little thing, but there's easily a good 60 hours or so of story and side activities to partake in.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a solid sequel and one of the best structured open worlds of recent years. The great work on the level design enhances a huge and varied game world, where the gameplay evolves hand in hand with our choices, giving life to an extremely dynamic and never monotonous adventure. In spite of a revisable artificial intelligence and a visual impact between high and low, Techland has managed to create a production of absolute level, an experience destined to lay important foundations for a franchise, now more than ever projected towards a rosy and even more ambitious future. Considering the many references and the vicissitudes related to its development, the end result is undoubtedly less obvious than we would have thought, it is certainly not the revolution expected a few years ago, but certainly a fair evolution of a title that tries, often succeeding, to excel where others have failed in Action / Adventure.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human may begin like the shuffling corpses you run into during the day, but evolves into the ferocious horde you encounter in the shadows of night. With an engaging gameplay loop of parkour and combat, the exploration of Villedor is something you’ll enjoy for hours on end, and with up to three friends at that. Yeah, it may take a little bit to get hooked, but once you’re infected, it’ll be all you can do to stay human.

Techland has managed to create something more important than just another well-written video game. Behold, a convincing open world that encourages you to discover its secrets and provides lots of fun, regardless of what you’re doing. Dying Light 2 isn’t perfect, but it perfectly makes up for its few flaws. A sequel better than the original!

Gamer is more than plentiful these days with all types of genres ranging from first-person shooters, MMO's, and every game/movie adaption you can shake a stick at. It is nice to see a Gem among them shine so brightly. This title features a bit of everything I have come to admire about other games and rolled into a creepy yet satisfying game. Dying Light 2 Staying Human has earned the title of the favorite game of 2022 at this time.

Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.

‎In the end, Techland decided not to risk more than the account with ‎‎Dying Light 2: Stay Human‎‎, with the pros and cons that this could mean. The Polish studio decided to take the already established foundation and take it to the next level, which resulted in one of the best zombie-themed games there can be. Within the niche that corresponds to it, ‎‎Dying Light 2‎‎ is a fun experience, full of emotion that will undoubtedly delight fans of the genre and those who want to live one of those zombie nightmares that they have read or seen in other media. ‎‎Dying Light 2‎‎ surpasses its predecessor and although it is not perfect and is limited in different sections, it manages to integrate all its parts properly without compromising its proposal, being coherent with itself and that is why it is a good video game.‎

Dying Light 2 is a safe and at the same time very good continuation. The creators do not risk, they have to prepare several updates and it will undoubtedly be an excellent proposition for the most loyal supporters of the world, which was first proposed in 2015.

Dying Light 2 is bigger and better than the first game. It improves on the original in every aspect while keeping the same formula. It’s a grindy game that can take either hundreds of hours to complete, or just a regular open-world action-adventure that you can finish in about 25-30 hours if you’re just interested in the main story.

While Dying Light 2 improves on its predecessor in nearly every way, occasional bugs hamper the experience and a few of the gameplay changes are ones I could have done without. Still, if you’re someone who’s been looking forward to the game, nothing that I experienced in my nearly 30 hours with the game was a complete deal breaker, and in fact I enjoyed my time quite a bit. If you’re someone that’s been on the fence, or perhaps mildly interested in Dying Light 2, I definitely think it’s an experience that’s worth your time, and one that stands out amongst the crowded zombie genre. If you were a fan of the original and have been eagerly anticipating Dying Light 2, it’s an easy day one purchase, and one that delivers on every promise that Techland set for it.
