Lil Gator Game tells an adorable story about childhood adventures, but also about growing up and friendship, even though it's far from being a video game for every player.

Lil Gator Game is just fantastic. A game about growing up with a cutesy coat of paint, show us how our priorities change when we grow up and with a innocent look remind us that sometimes... we just need to relax a little bit.

Lil Gator Game will take about five hours to finish 100%, which I did without thinking thanks to some perfectly-timed, clever late-game item additions. Overall, Lil Gator Game is a memorable experience from start to finish and I’m still carrying a little bit of its charm around with me as I go about my days.
Lil Gator Game is simple but entertaining, and will suck you in for hours of delightful, heart-warming, adventuring fun. Even if it’s missing a convenient feature or two, when all is said and done, you’ll wish you could play at the playground even longer. Hail, the lil gatoring hero!
A story about growing up without losing the child in us, wrapped in a beautiful world full of fun and original characters that will make us smile more than once.

Lil Gator Game is a cute, fun experience, good for a relaxing night after work. It reminds you to let go of the stresses of adulthood and to reconnect with your inner child, and the relaxing gameplay is complimented well by the charming writing. If you can get past the price point and the short length, Lil Gator Game is a fantastic little indie title that you’re sure to enjoy.
MegaWobble's clearly inspired by A Short Hike and The Legend of Zelda for the charming Lil Gator Game, which usually works out well.
Lil Gator Game isn’t a very long game, and will take 3-4 hours for standard completion, but those few hours are a good time that should make you smile. The game perfectly captures the way kids play and how quickly they’ll become your friends, such as by humoring a child who claims they’re invisible or helping someone get their mom off their phone so they can have the tea party they planned. It’s cute, it’s wholesome, and it’s highly recommendable.
Lil Gator Game is a serene, no-compromise adventure that turns youthful playtime into a great journey. It's engaging to explore an island full of activities: climbing, swimming, gliding and other actions allow us to go almost anywhere. Other than that, it's hard not to be captivated by the concept of playing a pretend game filled with amusing dialogue. In the end, Lil Gator Game is a great pastime, you just have to be willing to let your inner child take over.

Lil Gator Game, along with the host of other cozy indie games I’ve played and loved, are unique and special experiences that I’m glad I got to have. It’s so wonderful that finally gamers who don’t like a lot of the elements of AAA games can have a little piece of relaxing wonderful like Lil Gator Game and similar. I am so happy that indie games are much more able to reach audiences because my inner child was absolutely enthralled. While it’s a shame something so wonderful as this couldn’t have existed 20 years ago, indie developers are certainly making up for it now by releasing amazing, beautiful, wholesome, adorable, and nearly perfect games like this as passion projects. There is a lot of love in Lil Gator Game, and I can’t wait to see what this dev has in store for us next.
