I cannot have enough of Remnant II's fantastic co-op gameplay, especially thanks to its intense replayability. However, I do wish there had been more emphasis on the story to have something to root for along the way!
Remnant II brings so many improvements over the first game that I’m tempted to ask Gunslinger to remake Remnant: From the Ashes with all the systems they’ve put into the sequel. I’ve rarely been pleasantly surprised by a game like Remnant II.
Even though Remnant 2 makes more sense as a multiplayer experience, it is still a valuable package worth a try, but the $50 price tag might be a bit steep considering it's not a AAA title.

Remnant 2 is an impeccable work by Gunfire Games and a very high level sequel. Delivers the improvements and innovation expected by players and shows potential for even more to come. It might still not be the best solo experience possible, but it sure is one of the best co-op experiences out there.

I find myself thinking this about a lot of games this year, but in a weaker year Remnant 2 could be a GOTY contender. Don't hesitate to check it out if you like these types of games.
A great sequel with strong gameplay, diverse enemies, fun boss fights and satisfying shooting mechanics. It's a shame that the story is still mediocre, but other than that the game is worth your time.

Remnant II is a darn fun game. It's clear that the developers took to heart all of the major complaints about the first game and worked on improving them. The result is a title that seems determined to put having fun above all else, and it works. Assuming you have friends along for the ride, this can easily be one of the most enjoyable Soulslike experiences out there, and it's still fun as a solo game.
Remnant 2 is the closest thing to a perfect sequel as far as video games are concerned. It strikes that delicate balance of remaining faithful to the game that came before it while branching out in hopes of not being called a DLC for the game before. If you have played and loved the first Remnant game, you owe it to yourself to experience Remnant 2 sometime in the near future.
Remnant II is the most improved sequel that I've played in a long time and I can't wait for the third installment to release. Until then, I'll enjoy blasting away all sorts of dastardly foes within the absurdly wondrous world that's presented here.
For the most part, Remnant 2 is a satisfying souls-like that feels like a major step up from its predecessor in every single way. The gunplay is tight and precise, and there's an unprecedented potential for build-crafting. Having the option to hop on to a friend's game to play through a different biome means progression never stops, even if you get stuck in your world. If it wasn't hell-bent on making me miserable all the time, Remnant 2 may have been one of the most memorable games of this sub-genre.
Remnant 2’s story is as obtuse as the secrets it keeps. But from a pure gameplay standpoint, it’s a phenomenal game and incredibly replayable whether you’re flying solo or with a couple of friends. It’s just a shame that so many of the game’s secrets were designed to be solved by a Google Search rather than the player.
Remnant II is a completely different experience that builds on the first game and offers the best souls-like experience you can play with your friends.

The sequel to 2019's Souls-like shooter is a blast with polished gameplay, fun bosses, excellent co-op, and more variety than its predecessor.
Remnant 2 is a massive improvement over its predecessor thanks to fine-tuned gunplay, build customization, the massive amount of content, and excellent co-op support. It’s been a while since we’ve played a co-op action title that feels like it deserves the asking price (looking at you, Darktide). Whether you’re a Souls veteran or a casual player, Remnant 2 has something for you in store.
Remnant II is, without a doubt, one of the best looter-shooters today. A very well thought out, fun and challenging title whether in a solo adventure or in a shared adventure with up to two other players with content for dozens of hours. And... with three DLC planned to continue this brilliant ARPG, I don't see why it can't grow and provide more and more hours of fun. A game that I highly recommend to all fans of this genre of games!

Remnant 2 accomplishes everything the game set out to do. It's an enjoyable FPS/RPG hybrid that improves on the solid foundation of the first installment without losing its identity. It's a great and fun title that can be played repeatedly and always a little differently, solo, with friends or strangers online, and simply enjoy the great atmosphere, fantastic music, and overall enjoyable dopamine-filled gameplay—just a shame about the worse optimization and a few graphical imperfections.

Remnant II is fortunately an improvement in nearly all respects, expanding on the the first game in interesting ways that push greater player agency and cooperative engagement while maintaining the same tight gun play. In that same breath, the problems from the first game are still present, though to varying degrees of annoyance.
