I really enjoyed Unfinished Business—worth the price, and I’d love a similar yearly experience to scratch that itch. It isn’t innovative, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s perfect if you want a shooter where you don’t need lightning reflexes and a PhD in knee slides. It is my fourth directive to award RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business a Thumb Culture Gold Award.

Robocop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business offers familiar fun but puts the corridor back into corridor-shooter.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business doesn’t change up the formula much, but it knows what it is: a compact, action-heavy slice of RoboCop mayhem, and believe me, it delivers exactly that with confidence. With tighter pacing, satisfying combat, and a few standout moments that’ll make gamers squeal with delight, it’s an easy recommendation for fans of the base game. And sure, it may be more of the same, but when ‘the same’ is this fun, that’s no bad thing.

Those who loved Rogue City will find Unfinished Business to be an equally enjoyable expansion. Despite a plot that is perhaps less incisive, the expansion manages to entertain, remaining faithful to the film and adding some new features to the original gameplay. Leaving aside the technical issues that plagued Rogue City, Unfinished Business is a stand-alone DLC that fans of the series should not miss.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a tighter, faster follow-up that cuts out the slow patrols and focuses on heavy combat. It’s not a full sequel, but it feels complete, even with some leftover bugs and reused assets. If you liked Rogue City’s core action, this short return to OmniTower delivers more of it with fewer distractions.

At the end of the day, whether you’re a lifelong fan of the IP or simply someone craving an incredibly satisfying and exhilarating action experience, RoboCop: Rogue City Unfinished Business is a must-play. Teyon has once again knocked it out of the park, proving their mastery at crafting licensed games yet again. They’ve taken a beloved character, infused his world with a dose of relentless, gritty action cinema, and delivered a game that’s not just a loving tribute but a pure, unadulterated blast from start to finish. Rogue City was, without a doubt, the best RoboCop game ever made, and now, Unfinished Business stands shoulder-to-shoulder with it, cementing both as essential plays for every fan of the franchise.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a gritty, action-packed expansion that builds on the brutal satisfaction of the original. While it's a bit easier and has its fair share of bugs, it still powerfully captures what matters most—feeling like RoboCop in all his relentless, law-enforcing glory.

RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business picks up right where Rogue City left off, and explores so many new ideas, it absolutely needed to be a standalone experience. Teyon has made an incredibly satisfying game that serves as a great companion to the films without stepping on their toes. Unfinished Business is highly enjoyable, the new missions, locations, weapons, and enemies make everything feel fresh and new. RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business doesn't completely payoff, but it's a ton of fun. “Excuse me, I have to go. Somewhere there is a crime happening.”

RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is more of the same, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The combat is excellent, the new setting is fun, and Peter Weller is back!

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is most satisfying in spurts. The gunfighting is satisfying, with enough challenge to it so as not to feel like you’re just an unstoppable machine marching through waves of enemies. But there is too much dead air between fights, making the slow movement annoying after a while.

The jank and glitches present in RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business make it hard to give it a higher score, but this is about as fun as uncomplicated FPS games get. Buy it, blast through it over a weekend, smile the entire time.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business doesn’t try to rewrite the rulebook. Instead, it refines everything that worked in the original and trims what didn’t. With tighter pacing, improved combat variety, a punchy narrative that honours its source material, and smart level design within a confined setting, this is a proper follow-up and a great jumping-on point for newcomers. It might be called Unfinished Business, but for Teyon, this feels like a job well done.

Unfinished Business does what a good expansion should: it expands on the original without losing sight of what made the 2023 original so enjoyable. The action is still sluggish and hard-hitting, and the humor is also intact. The new enemies, locations, weapons, and abilities provide some fresh elements and variety. Is it revolutionary? No. But it doesn't need to be. Unfinished Business is a compact, well-developed addition, lasting about 10 to 12 hours, that delivers exactly what fans want: more RoboCop.

"RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business" isn't a technical masterpiece. The graphics are okay, but not impressive. Enemy behavior lacks depth, and gameplay doesn't reinvent anything new. And yet, the game works. Why? Because it understands what makes RoboCop special.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a stand-alone title where Teyon addresses past criticisms but still earns a ticket for its compromises. The focus shifts to intense police brutality in a faster-paced FPS, with quicker access to action and tougher foes. However, limited freedom and lingering technical flaws make the world feel less immersive—though bursts of action still showcase Teyon at its best.
