LEGO Voyagers is a rather brief affair (my first playthrough clocked in at just over three hours), but each minute brings with it something new and novel. Whether you’re working together to repair a train track or taking a minute to unwind and play on a makeshift see-saw, it’s packed with these special moments that highlight the importance of friendships in our lives. It’s also, surprisingly, an incredibly emotional game (especially during its final moments), but I won’t dare spoil any of that for you. Even if LEGO Voyagers could be reworked into a strictly single-player affair, the result wouldn’t be half as good as it currently stands. It’s very much a game that’s not about the destination, but rather, the journey you make together.

Lego Voyagers is a simple yet charming game built around dedicated co-op play. There's no dialogue, no quests, and no tutorials. Just you, your partner, and the Lego-built environment. It could certainly have been better, but as it stands, this is a highly accessible experience offered at an attractive price point.

LEGO Voyagers is a short and sweet co-op adventure best enjoyed on a relaxed afternoon with a friend. However, it doesn't leave much behind once it’s over. The puzzles are easy, sometimes too easy, but they’re carried by how naturally the game encourages two people to figure things out together. I do wish, though, that it lasts longer than just a few hours, especially since it also doesn’t quite push its mechanics as far as it could.

LEGO Voyagers is brief, yet despite that, it leaves a long-lasting impression. Even as the credits rolled, I knew I wasn't done with it; I needed more, wanted more from the game. The puzzles are equally charming, the music is a highlight, and the cute little LEGO bricks are emotive figures that will win you over. The building mechanics are fun, the puzzles are inventive, and the experience comes together beautifully.

LEGO Voyagers is a joyous, endlessly charming, and approachable co-op adventure that’s hard to put down and guaranteed to make you smile at least once. It looks and sounds gorgeous thanks to its believable world, snappy animations, and excellent sound design, and by the end, you’ll remember these bricks for everything they achieved in a short yet memorable journey.

LEGO Voyagers is a very different kind of game than the licensed stuff we already know and love, but it’s a good kind of different. If only it weren’t over so quickly.

LEGO Voyagers is quite easily my favorite LEGO game ever. It's a super short, but endlessly sweet co-op journey that will tug at your heartstrings by the end and stick with you long after the credits roll.

There’s no loot, score-chasing, meta-progression, or any of the nonsense that can make co-op games fumbly, bloated messes. There’s simply a nice experience to have with someone you care enough about to spend a few hours with. That’s all. And that’s enough.

If you're interested in a laidback co-op experience with a friend, LEGO Voyagers fits that remit. It isn't doing anything truly groundbreaking, and there are some finicky controls that may get in the way, but overall it'll win you over with its clever design and a surprisingly emotional narrative.

LEGO Voyagers is a bold and contemplative adventure, which has the merit of attempting something that we hadn't yet encountered in the brand's catalog. The whole thing is sumptuous, magnificently served by graphics that will make animation studios envious and an OST that perfectly serves the meditative dimension of the title. On the other hand, it lacks a little something engaging to fully transport us into its proposition.

I think that so far this year, Lego Voyagers is the option to go for if you're looking for a very original and, above all, fun cooperative game, a detail that is often overlooked in this new era in favor of other, much less representative qualities.

LEGO Voyagers sets many foundational bricks that could be used by LEGO titles for years to come, be it the refreshing take on gameplay, reflective show-not-tell narrative told in wonder filled environments, or simple co-op fun.

A co-op only game in the vein of It Takes Two, LEGO Voyagers challenges players to navigate a wonderfully designed world as a couple of small bricks, rolling around while navigating platforms, building structures and solving puzzles. Its controls can be a bit fiddly at times, but overall it's a pleasure to play from beginning to end.

In the end, LEGO Voyagers is an awesome co-op experience that lasts for just the right amount of time. In four hours of playtime, you'll get a delightful little puzzle platformer with good, simple puzzles and lots of heart, even if there isn't dialogue to drive things along. The presentation is fantastic, and even though the game has a few minor issues, players should give this game a shot if they're a genre fan looking for a new co-op game to play.
