This time, time travel, cleverly crafted puzzles, and the developers’ signature brand of humor take center stage. But can this spin-off, despite stepping away from the narrative formula that made Wrong Dimension so memorable, remain just as unpredictable and entertaining from beginning to end?

Crushed In Time is a delightful new style of point & click adventure, making the whole world elastic and taking you, Holmes and Watson on a journey through the travails of game development. There's definitely a game in Draw Me A Pixel's second title, but they'll need your help to finish it.

Crushed In Time is a simple point-and-click adventure pushed to its limits. While some pain is involved, there are also a lot of cool ideas born in this far-flung space. If you’re looking for a puzzle adventure with a full roster of fascinating twists, Crushed In Time might be just what you need.

If you like adventure games with a large helping of puzzles and fourth-wall-breaking humour, Crushed In Time delivers in spades. The oddly limited control scheme unfortunately frustrates more than it aids. However, if you can look past that, Crushed In Time has a good amount to recommend for point-and-click adventure game fans.

Draw Me A Pixel is back with a clever and unusual adventure, this time following Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson as they puzzle their way through a glitching video game. There's a lot to love here, but the stretchy control gimmick is not going to be for everyone.

Crushed in Time is simply a very fun and funny game. Draw Me A Pixel manages to give a familiar genre a surprisingly fresh twist without losing sight of the essence of a good point-and-click adventure. The story is accessible, the humor works excellently, and the puzzles constantly keep your brain working. Moreover, with a playtime of about six to seven hours, the adventure is exactly the right length. The elastic gameplay is fully utilized without losing its charm along the way. Despite a few technical glitches, this is highly recommended for anyone in the mood for an old-fashioned, yet simultaneously fresh, point-and-click adventure.

Crushed In Time manages to breathe new life into the graphic adventure genre with a story rich in mystery and populated by characters that make it full of humour and stylistically appealing. The gameplay mechanics are simple but, thanks to the ‘pull-and-push’ system, they add variety to the gaming experience. The presence of countless puzzles and environmental riddles will make it appealing and challenging for fans of the genre and beyond. All in all… well done, Draw Me A Pixel – mission accomplished!

Crushed in Time is a fantastic, highly original adventure that’ll keep players completely hooked thanks to its uniquely creative puzzling. The bickering dynamic between Holmes and Watson is genuinely funny, the voice acting is top-tier, and the shifting worlds are an absolute treat to explore. And sure, the control quirks might test your patience at times – especially when playing on the Steam Deck – but the sheer creativity on display makes Crushed in Time an easy recommendation for both long-time point-and-click adventure veterans and those who simply want to experience a puzzler that genuinely brings something unique to the genre.

Crushed in Time delivers on its promise of fun, funny and smart hours. The game is clever in its puzzles, gameplay, narration and rhythm and environment breaks. The good surprise of this almost early summer. An end that stretches a little for a game whose principle is to stretch things, after all, why not?

Crushed in Time is an interesting and entertaining puzzle game with a unique control scheme and puzzle mechanics. While not all of the puzzles are winners, the vast majority are, even when they're so difficult you think you'll never solve them.

Looking at all of the evidence, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that Crushed In Time is one of the best point-and-click adventure games, ever. I was blown away by the level of wiriting and humour, thrilled with how well implemented and thought out the pinch and stretch mechanic was, and left with a feeling that I had just finished the first entry in a belovd future franchise. Marvelously meta, wildy imaginative, and increidbly polished, Crushed In Time is a game that will stand the Beta test of time.

Fortunately, the answer to the question “Would I want to travel back in time to spare myself from Crushed In Time?” is “no.” Draw Me A Pixel has pleasantly surprised me with a lighthearted Holmes & Watson adventure full of zany humor and fourth-wall-breaking dialogue, which also manages to incorporate an inventive pick-and-play approach.

In the first few minutes of the game, I'm not sure whether the "rubber-band" mechanics in *Crushed in Time* are an innovation or just a way to drag the story out. However, the developers show a lot of creativity and come up with exciting twists that keep me hooked from level to level. I'm actually really enjoying it.

Even after just a few minutes, it was clear to me: Crushed in Time is something truly special once again. Because the elastic gameplay fits wonderfully into a classic Point & Click adventure and enables completely new interaction possibilities with its stretchy twist.
