Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an exceptional game that offers countless hours of gameplay, featuring a vast selection of characters and courses to choose from, thanks to its Booster Course Pass DLC. The only feature that seems to be lacking in this game is the two-person kart from Mario Kart: Double Dash. Whatever the future holds for the series, it will have a hard time surpassing the entertainment value and quality of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

"Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" is so complete that it made me wonder how the original Wii U release even made it to shelves in its original state. This is everything kart fans could want from the series: fast action that can be enjoyed by beginners and seasoned veterans, plenty of unlockables, an assortment of tracks and fun modes for parties. This is the new pinnacle for the "Mario Kart" series. Nintendo was smart to take us on another lap around the track.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the definitive edition of one of the best games ever created by Nintendo. You must play this title no matter what.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is absolutely the best game currently available for the Nintendo Switch apart from Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For players who have never had the pleasure of experiencing the original Wii U title, this is a must-own and could be qualified as yet another killer app (even though it technically is a port). On the other hand, even if you own the original, this is the definitive Mario Kart 8 experience; in fact, it is the best Mario Kart game to date period.
There's enough content here even if you've already played Mario Kart 8, thanks to its impressive and addicting new Battle Mode, or even the four additional Cups in case you've never bothered to buy the DLC for the Wii U game.
Nintendo provides Switch owners the opportunity to play one of the best games on the Wii U with several new enhancements, characters, and modes that makes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe arguably the best entry in the franchise since Mario Kart 64. This updated version of the fun Wii U title only improves the experience and is well worth every Switch owners time and money.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Mario Kart game ever. Such an appreciation is enough to let you know how the game is. Sounds haven't changed much, but the graphics have received some nice tweaks and new details that will definitely delight and further enhance the resulting experience of the game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a lot more than just the “complete edition” – it’s the only edition that exists from this point forward.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe might be a port, but thanks to the improvements and upgrades it is by far the best kart racer to date and should powerslide straight into your Switch library.
While small scuffs to the online multiplayer experience prevent it from reaching perfection, Deluxe is a crowd cheering victory lap to the Wii U’s wondrous warm-up every Switch owner deserves to get behind the wheel of.
