It's starting to feel pointless to review Just Dance titles since it's hard to grasp what exactly Ubisoft is trying to accomplish with them at this point, but darn it I've come this far and I'm going to see this through, even if it takes until Just Dance 2049.

In a strange twist for a series that you would expect to be built around drawing in new consumers, Just Dance 2018 feels like a perfect match for those who already love the games and are really serious about their dancing, yet does nothing to draw in newcomers. In some ways, this year's edition feels like it is almost a ‘greatest hits' for its hardcore fans – the one entry that you'll always fall back to just to play through the best stuff. Yet with such a hefty cost needed to access all of the game's content, only the most serious will get true enjoyment here.

Just Dance 2018 is just as good as it's always been, but it's beginning to become hard to justify shelling out just for a smattering of new songs with each iteration.

Just Dance 2018 is an improvement over the previous version; everything that was already working has been improved, the menus are now more intuitive and simple and Ubisoft is still thinking about the kids in the house. Without a doubt, it will be one of the great successes of this Christmas, especially in the Nintendo platforms.

Pretty much the same, boringly dependable Just Dance experience at heart, but the addition of a kid friendly mode, and a much-needed subscription service in Just Dance Unlimited, make this far more worthy a purchase for front room dance fans than the last few iterations.

It might be the adrenaline talking, but I seriously got into Just Dance 2018. It's a silly amount of fun combined with a serious workout and guaranteed to have you grinning along when you pull off a sick move.

Just Dance 2018 features a varied list of songs and its gameplay mechanics are still competent and fun to entertain groups at parties. The lack of new game modes, however, demonstrates that the series urgently needs innovation.

Just Dance 2018 is the family experience of the year with new titles to dance and unleash in our salons. The Just Dance Unlimited service complements it perfectly, but it will be dispensable for those who already own all the titles. A continuous title that never disappoints.

Besides the lack of some other great hits besides "Despacito", Just Dance 2018 makes another nice game, specially for the kinds at home and all of the people that might get it for the Nintendo Switch. Playing it on a Nintendo Switch with HD Rumble technology and both Joy-Cons just feels like the way it was meant to be.

I'm not a huge fan of the series in general, but Just Dance 2018 is really a nice package. There is a plethora of songs, there are tons of categories like songs for kids and even songs suited for fitness purposes. If you are looking for a great party game with a lot of value, Just Dance 2018 for Switch is a solid option.  Who knows, maybe you can get the whole family dancing to ‘Sexy and I Know It' for the Holidays :)

Just Dance 2018 is a groovy addition to any party. A fun time to be had by all, the addition of Just Dance Unlimited and the ability to use two Joy-Con controllers for a few songs is a welcome treat for Switch owners.

A few solid new additions and strong reiteration of past mechanics make for an enjoyable experience, even if it is largely similar to what we've already seen from past Just Dance games.

Just Dance 2018 is relatively inoffensive; it's a great purchase for those who didn't grab last year's iteration.

Just Dance 2018 is the ninth instalment in the long-running dance-a-thon series, and it still grooves deep into the early hours of tomorrow morning, even with this excellent Wii U version. It may not be a revolutionary entry by any means, but it adds enough to be a fully-fleshed game for newcomers, while also tempting enough for any series veterans looking to dust off those dancing shoes.

The Just Dance franchise hasn't grown a lot since its heyday, but it doesn't need to.

Most of the tracks included are from the past two years so if you've been a fan of music lately, then it's worth the purchase. Personally I preferred what was offered on Just Dance Unlimited as it included lots of old favorites and a wonderful collection of Halloween-themed songs that my kids thoroughly enjoyed. No matter the reason you enjoy Just Dance, whether it's on the on go or in the privacy of your own home, you're likely to enjoy the 2018 version in any environment.

Just Dance is still one of the best family games out there, unfortunately it's pretty hard to notice any changes with the annual release but I really appreciate adding new modes like kids and dance lab. Having Nintendo switch is also an advantage with the beat vibrations and double rumble mode which is quite good use of joy-cons.

Just Dance 2018 does not offer much new, but it truly does not have to at this point. The things it does offer adds to the already great experience in unexpected ways. The mojo gashapon adds yet another addictive component to the mixture of feel-good-hormones the game has offered for ages in a way that is obviously clever once explained. What players are here for, though, is the fun and addictive dance gameplay, which is as strong as ever with the ever growing Unlimited library. This makes Just Dance 2018 well worth a go for fans and newcomers alike.
