Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 4 Reviews
Some interesting things happen in Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 4: What Ails You, and it is better than previous efforts, but they are the kind of things that should have happened a long time ago, as they don't really have the necessary "power" to make you as eager to experience the end of this journey as it should.
The first episode is by far the best one of Season 2 and Telltale has yet to reach the same highs. 'What Ails You' picks up at the end thanks to the Joker, but it's not as exciting as other episodes. Hopefully The Enemy Within ends with a bang with episode 5 in a few week's time!
With only one action sequence and not a single challenging puzzle in sight, The Enemy Within Episode 4 is clearly not the most intense Telltale episode ever made. But its portrayal of the Joker manages to make this second to last episode interesting.

Batman: The Enemy Within: What Ails You may hurl a lot at the wall, but in doing so it's very exciting and, at times, will have you genuinely intrigued as to what's next. As that's the point, it's hard to be overly negative about it.
John Doe's unpredictability continues to be the highlight in a season that's seen Bruce Wayne's role become ever more important than the titular Dark Knight. While short, this is a solid episode that puts plenty of interesting plot threads into play, but with the finale around the corner, there's very little resolution – merely setup for that all-important fifth episode.
I never had any complaints from What Ails You aside from its dull scenes and the take of Mr. Freeze, it did leave me quite excited for the finale, Same Stitch, this month or next month. I can’t wait to see the Joker in full action!
What Ails You gives more action, and more important plot progression, but also seems to want to fill in the gaps with plotlines it just hasn't given the proper time to.
All in all, it's a nice but really, really short adventure, an increasingly common occurance for Telltale Games.
Telltale's new interpretation of Joker is a great success, and your decisions will cause much more serious consequences than before. However, Episode 4 of Batman: The Enemy Within still has a lot of ridiculous plot that makes the story childish.

They could still turn it around with a memorable finale. Maybe this episode's most vital maneuver is to have cleared some of Batman's — and Telltale's — path to success.
Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 4 "What Ails You" is the weakest episode of this highly regarded series. It's nowhere near a disaster though, still offering a great new Batman tale set within Telltale's interesting splinter universe. The real test of this series will come in its finale, when we see whether these last two episodes of build up end up paying off with something special.
What Ails You is the best episode of The Enemy Within since the season opener.
What Ails You does a great job of setting up the finale for The Enemy Within. Most of the episode has you following a line from start to finish with very little variation in the gameplay.
Telltale has been telling an interesting story this season, and has proven time and time again to have interesting takes on Batman villains both new and old, but it's their ability to make The Joker so interesting that should be commended as we eagerly await the finale.
Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 4 tells a good story, but it is the interactions with John Doe that make this episode worth playing. If you have been waiting to see him take his next steps to becoming a legend, episode 4 has plenty to offer.
What Ails You is an interesting premise for a potentially remarkable epilogue. Every piece is where it should, Bruce made his decisions and we really want to know where those will lead. Now, it's just up to Telltale.

'What Ails You' takes The Enemy Within's biggest and boldest step yet toward redefining the Joker's role in the Batman universe – should you choose to push him in that direction (which I did). It's the other characters whose final impacts on Bruce Wayne/Batman's life have yet to be determined.
The shortest chapter, but i does not lack in depth. The genesis of the Joker is the most interesting in an episode that also explores more about characters like Amanda Waller and Tiffany Fox. It's a pity that we only have Bruce Wayne and not Batman.
