Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Reviews
The best Call Of Duty of the generation and while some will bemoan the lack of a story campaign, it's hard to argue with the quality and quantity of content on offer.
Treyarch and Activision have managed to achieve with Black Ops 4 exactly what fans were asking for. An addictive multiplayer mode, a bigger than ever zombie experience and a Blackout option that despite of it being in the need for improvements, leaves a really good impression. The Call of Duty saga is back for good with a game that will certainly be worthy of your time.

How well Activision manages Black Ops 4 will possibly influence the entire future of the series. For now, two thirds of it is rising to the occasion.
If you manage to go beyond the absence of the single campaign, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a solid multiplayer shooter full of content.

With all things considered, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 achieves its score with room to improve… or plummet.
Black Ops 4 feels like one of the strongest Call of Duty entries to come along in years. Despite not having a solo campaign or some of the past games' more bombastic mechanics, Treyarch has proved the adage that "less is more." And this game's "less" is good enough to keep me waiting around for "more."
In giving up any pretence at story or solo play, Treyarch has created the boldest and most focused Call of Duty in years
The ultimate Call of Duty multiplayer experience.
Once you accept that the campaign is gone, you'll realize that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a game made specifically for the fans.
Multiplayer could still use some balance and spawn tweaking, Specialist HQ's implementation flopped, and there are still bugs to be addressed. Nonetheless, there is something here that feels like the biggest step in the right direction the Call of Duty series has taken in a long time.
As a card-carrying member of the single-player society, it was with some trepidation I dived into Call of Duty:
The shooter has gone multiplayer-only, bringing its own brand of exhilarating action and tactical warfare to the game modes popularised by Fortnite and Battlegrounds
What Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 comes with is an easily recommendable launch package.
Call of Duty Black Ops IIII revitalizes the annual shooter by dropping the traditional campaign and focusing more on the cooperative multiplayer, from a trio of distinct Zombies experiences to one of the best takes on Battle Royale to date.
The courage of Treyarch must always be rewarded, and that is why we feel confident in affirming that, for now, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 can really make a difference in its own genre, especially thanks to the new Blackout mode. Nice job!

Multiplayer feels great for veteran players. Zombies is neat if not a bit mundane before it ends. Still, there is a lot here, and for those wanting that online CoD experience will find plenty bang for their buck. I miss the campaign, but they have definitely made up for it for those interested in killing other players online.
Black Ops 4 is easily the best Call Of Duty has been in years. The game plays almost flawlessly, and despite it not having a single player campaign still offers lots of content including the new Battle Royale mode Blackout. The only thing keeping Black Ops 4 from a perfect score is that the multiplayer maps, while being well designed lack originality and rely too heavily on remaking the past. If you haven't played Call Of Duty for a while, Black Ops 4 gives you plenty of reasons to return.
There will always be those that lament it for the lack of a single player campaign, but what Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 does for its multiplayer experience is nothing less than phenomenal. Traditional multiplayer has never been better thanks to a few tweaks and additions here and there that elevate the action to a whole new level, while the all new Blackout mode does Battle Royale better than anyone else. And on top of that, Zombies continues to impress us with a plethora of mechanics to engage with and scenarios to complete. As a package, you're going to struggle to find much better than Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in the multiplayer market this year.
