While some of Conan Exiles has rubbed off a bit for me thanks to friction with its more cumbersome aspects, it remains a genuinely engrossing experience to play... if you can find a spot in the queue.

Conan Exiles is often slow and arduous, but even after 70 hours – 40 since launch – the idea of returning to the Exiled Lands still holds some allure. Crafting is largely a tedious grind, especially the higher up you get in the crafting tiers, and it's surprising that in a world about brutal combat, Conan Exiles falls flat there. However, the beautifully realized world is a joy to explore and it nails the atmosphere of the source material.
Conan Exiles brings you in a violent world, full of background stories and dangerous places, but still feels crippled due to technical flaws, despite the time passed in early access on Steam.

Conan Exiles is one of the more polished survival games out there. The exploration and flow of combat is some of the best in the genre too. I just wish I had more personality to make it stand out from the rest.
Conan Exiles is a staggeringly deep adventure game, but you may get too frustrated to bother making it to the end.
Conan Exiles is a fantastic survival game, arguably one of the genre's best. Right now the game suffers from some ropey console performance, server issues and a range of bugs. But despite these issues the game is a whole lot of fun, especially with friends. Don't sleep on Conan Exiles.
Well worth a look if you like survival games
Conan Exiles is dated and full of bugs, but it's also very fun due to a good story and huge amount of contents, and if you can overlook its many technical issues, you might end up having a great time playing it.

Conan Exiles is enjoyable enough, but it does reveal some fundamental weaknesses in the survival genre; it's not one that can be tuned effectively to storytelling, and that means that if you're using a storytelling property, such as Conan, you're going to need to exhibit a great deal over control to bring the necessary focus into the experience, and unfortunately the developers weren't able to quite get there with Conan Exiles.
Conan Exiles has several flaws that can ward off players interested in the world of the famous barbarian, but also shows quality in their primary functions. A cooperative experience further enhances the quality of the game and ensures good fun if the various technical and visual problems are ignored.

Conan Exiles is not a bad game, although it's not a great game either. It's far more enjoyable than Sea of Thieves thanks to giving players more direction, although gamers that don't play survival genre video games aren't going to enjoy this game a lot. Only gamers that have many online friends and love survival games are going to get the most enjoyment out of Conan Exiles.
I had a lot of fun while playing Conan Exiles, despite the fact that playing MMO game in solo mode makes almost no sense and that you have to join a clan pretty quickly. Even though it doesn't offer anything new nor it is better than the competition, it is still a good game. Really!

In fact, that pretty much sums up the game as a whole. It's a game of magnificent vistas and embarrassing glitches, epic ambitions and humdrum work. The world is vast and beautiful, yet filled with dumb animals and even dumber enemies. While never less than absorbing, it can be hideously annoying too.
In this case, the sum of the parts is greater than each system on its own.
