Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu/Let's Go, Eevee is fun to play. It has much new design comes from Pokemon Go, which is quite suitable to traditional Pokemon series. The partner pokemon system is adorable, and can attract many casual gamers. However, comparing to the prequels, LGPE lacks many basic functions such as new pokemons and new moves. The complete version of Pokemon on NS still needs to be waited until next year.

Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! bring a lot of fresh ideas to the table, showing that Game Freak dosent intend to stay stand still once again on a product that by its very nature will always have a very big and fanatical audience.

I'll always want the mainline games, and I don't see myself continually coming back to Let's Go like I have done the standard entries, but as a gateway for newer, younger players, I can't think of anything more perfect that Let's Go. I can't wait to see the smiles on kids' faces as they start up their first ever Pokémon adventure.

Pokémon Let's Go is an exquisite and adorable game that will surely attract many new recruits to Nintendo's cause. Sadly it isn't the much-desired herald of a new generation of games for this brand. It's a rather easy title, but this also makes it very suitable for a young audience.

Pokemon: Lets Go! Pikachu and Lets Go! Eevee represents a yummy appetizer for one of the Nintendo Switch's reasons for existing — a full-fledged Pokemon game with console quality graphics that can be played on the go to boot. It's not quite the mainline game fans have been waiting for and is lacking features that hardcore purists expect from a Pokemon game. Its newcomer-friendly features, however, potentially expand the Pokemon audience while also adds some quality-of-life changes to boot. All in all, Pokemon: Lets Go! kicks off the franchise on the Switch in style while making you hungry for the next full-fledged installment.

Even with its technical flaws, certain balance problems and reduced functionality, LGP manages to convince us that trying to combine the big Pokemon games and Pokemon Go in one project is not an unnatural experiment, but the best from both worlds.

Hardcore fans might feel that this game is too casual, but the general audience will be floored by the revamping of the Kanto region and the inclusion of new mechanics.

Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu are fine additions to the series, albeit different to what we're used to seeing. Presenting a more casual and relaxed environment to stroll through and appreciate, it offer a new Kanto. One of exploration, one of cooperation, and one of catching them all. It isn't without its faults, but as a way to bridge the gap between mobile and main series, it succeeds brilliantly.

Pokémon: Let’s Go is an absolute delight. It may not be the next big step in the franchise, but it’s the perfect remake that the fans would hope for, with easy to play mechanics, a charming aesthetic and all the nostalgia. A surprisingly solid game that can be played by everyone until we catch them all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Pokemon: Let’s Go! Eevee and thought it was a great way to take players back to the Kanto region and experience a re-imagining of one of my favourite Pokemon games of the past. Even though at it’s core it is a remake, it still brings plenty of fresh ideas and new gameplay mechanics with it’s new capture system and the ability to interact with the Pokemon directly on the map. I still can’t believe how visually great the game looks and it still wows me every time I turn it on to play. As a first entry made solely for the Nintendo Switch it has me really excited to see what Game Freak are cooking up for next year’s core Pokemon title.

For over twenty years, Pokémon has been a source of joy and adoration. If Pokémon Let's Go is an indication of where the franchise is headed in the future, it's easily going to enjoy another two decades of love from a whole new generation of fans.

While I definitely don't want to see everything it changes brought over to Generation VIII, Let's Go acts as a refreshing change of pace for bother newcomers and longtime fans of the series.
