Dragon Quest Builders 2 Reviews
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a gigantic game that in comparison with the first game, benefits from a better building system and a more free and detailed world. But lack of advancement in the combat system and repetitive nature of it hurts the experience. Also apart from the great opening segment, as we progress the story, dialogues become more and more repetitive and in some cases, it gets too long and unnecessary

A wonderful sequel which fixed a lot of mistakes of the first game and still is as addictive as before. You're not even bothering to look for it's shortcomings, just because there are too many great things about it.

Enhancing its predecessor's formula, Builders 2 delivers an even more charismatic, rewarding and fun experience. While there is freedom to play with the possibilities of the game, the complaints are minimal. However, the design of the missions and the game's constant tutorials are annoying, assuming the player needs "crutches" for even the most basic tasks. The imbalance in tutorial implementation will require players' perseverance, but the investment is worth it after all.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 offers a lot of fun but camera and controls are its main weaknesses.

The first Dragon Quest Builders was an amazing surprise, taking all the things its progenitor did and improving on them by adding its own flair and style, now Dragon Quest Builders 2 feels bigger in every way, but only better in some.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a true standout in the Switch's ever-glistening library of gems. From its brilliantly-paced progression to its secrets and thoughtful world design, it's a game you can play seemingly-endlessly. As long as you have a passion to build, as long as you're eager to create, develop, and grow, there will always be something to do. It is a game I wholeheartedly recommend to any Switch owner, and with a free demo available, there's no excuse not to give it a shot.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is an absolute joy to play and will quickly engage and engross most players who enjoy action RPGs and building style games.
With a smarter UI, much-needed quality of life improvements, and a couple of new mechanics and features, Dragon Quest Builders 2 a much leaner, more organic, and more enjoyable Builders experience, and feels like a proper realization of the experiment that the first game was.
Players looking for a fun co-op experience or those who don't care about paying a little extra can quickly jump into Dragon Quest Builders 2 for an improved experience and a healthy dose of new mechanics and features.
The limitless creativity and engaging experience of Dragon Quest Builders 2 easily makes it one of my all time favourite games
Most of the time the game is working properly, though, humming along with an endless series of pleasant tasks to chase after.
Dragon Quest Builders is what you would expect from a sequel. Richer, bigger, better.

Overall, playing Dragon Quest Builders 2 is just as fun, if not more fun than the first one.
A sequel that treads very familiar ground whilst remaining fresh and innovative, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a great title that delivers on both its promise to give the player an immersive narrative, and also in giving them untold freedom to play the game however they want, as long as they can deal with a dumb hunger meter. Building might be bad, but has never felt so good.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a marked improvement on its predecessor. Although the combat is still underwhelming, the rest of the package is sharp, charming, and loaded with stuff to build, crops to farm, and settlements to manage.
With such an expansive land to explore divided into isles, a fantastic building component, and genuine feeling of warmth and accomplishment, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is utterly fun and adorable at the same time. Whether you play for a little or hours at a time, there is always something to do that will add to your gaming experience. This game is utterly charming to look at and plays like a really well tuned machine. I am pressed to fault it to be honest. It achieves everything it promises and then some. I had a good time with it and am sure you will as well regardless of your age.
Dragon Quest Builders II is a game that provides the tools for one to craft some fascinating and detailed fantasy creations. The story is what drew me in, however. Dragon Quest Builders II is ultimately a game about fate and whether we are bound to our natures that hearkens to lore from the early Dragon Quest stories. Although rife with annoyances, the overall experience is worth it.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 accomplishes what it needs to do. Everything is presented in a simple and easy to understand way, that allows enough freedom to prevent the dreaded feeling that it is holding your hand. Toss in some cute visuals, comical characters and the ever popular world that is Dragon Quest and you have a winning combo. Whether you're looking to fight enemies, build an empire or just mess around, it's the type of adventure that is easy to get hooked on and enjoy. So, if you love building or just Dragon Quest in general, I strongly suggest giving this one a go or at least checking the demo out.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 improves upon the original title in a variety of ways, making for a superior sequel for the building based spin-off series.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 retains the core of the first game and makes many little tweaks that improve things for the best, but it still has the same glaring weakness.
