Just Dance 2020
Top Critic Average
Just Dance 2020 doesn’t bring anything drastically new to the franchise, and for new players that works out just fine. Dedicated fans of the franchise may question this year’s song selection, so it might not be a must-have upgrade if you’ve already got Just Dance 2019.

As a ten-year celebration for the franchise, Just Dance 2020 is mostly the same, for better or for worse. While it strips some of the innovative features of past entries, the eclectic and energetic songlist will get any party pumped up all night. Just make sure you get Just Dance Unlimited for a better time.
Just Dance 2020 brings everything that makes Just Dance fun and introduces a nice little homage to the franchise.
Just Dance 2020 will ignite your parties and make you dance until exhaustion. It is so immediately fun that it is easy to overlook the issue of track discoverability and the lack of a proper story mode.

Just Dance 2020 pushes the franchise forward by creating more complex choreographies and introducing new themes and styles of music through its diverse songlist. The returning modes remain as solid as they were with a few noticeable quality of life improvements. At its conclusion the All-Stars Mode feels a little underwhelming, but no matter what occasion or reason you want to buy it for, Just Dance 2020 is highly recommended.
Colorful, vibrating and fun, Just Dance 2020 is a great celebration for 10 years of the franchise. If fans were willing to celebrate it, Ubisoft just made it real.

Just Dance 2020 does not differ from other games in the series in the sense that it's fun, enjoyable and has enough content and music for many intense moments. At the same time, Just Dance 2020 is too similar to its immediate predecessors to stand out and beyond a small number of new elements, there are not too many reasons to purchase this latest edition of the Just Dance series for those who own the last titles released on the Nintendo Switch.

Just Dance 2020 is a celebration of the series' tenth anniversary in more ways than one, with years' worth of releases all leading up to a formula that has truly been perfected and a decent new song list to boot. You'll want to be subscribed to Just Dance Unlimited to get the most out of your purchase, however, and a combination of your needs, budget and access to previous titles makes the decision much more difficult than it should be. Newcomers to the series won't find a better experience out there, but seasoned players might want to think about saving some cash and sticking with their current setup.
Is Just Dance 2020 "the ultimate dance game"? Probably not; while an improvement over last year, there are better entries in the series. But it still offers fun exercise and enjoyable family entertainment. Just be sure to be subscribed to Just Dance Unlimited as that's what will keep you dancing beyond the first month. Happy anniversary, Just Dance.
Still good dancing game with a lot of good music for kids and veterans.
