Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is the type of game that Nintendo does better than any other developer in the industry. This is a game that has clearly been designed with families in mind, and it's the perfect way to play together, while also taking in something educational. The game's $30 price point also makes it ideal for parents looking for one last Switch game to buy this holiday season. Honestly, it's a shame that the game came out after my Nintendo Holiday Gift Guide went live, because it absolutely would have made the list this year. Solo players will likely get less enjoyment out of the title (and might want to deduct half a point from my score), but this is one multiplayer experience families and friends are sure to enjoy together this holiday season.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is a real blast, especially Ghost Clash mode and the Party multiplayer mode. I really enjoyed all 20 activities and their inherent fun-factor encourages me to come back daily to see if I can beat my high score.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is a fun way to exercise your brain regularly. The competition aspect keeps the game fun and engaging if the single player isn't up to snuff.

Big Brain Academy games ride the line between entertainment and training. You’ll churn through the content being offered in an hour, but that’s by design. A proper playthrough of this game is stretched over several months, with you improving slightly every day. Although I can’t imagine extensive research would teach you anything really new. Even a couple hours with these challenges would be enough to illuminate your weak points. Such is the central tenet here. If you’re looking for a gaming experience, you’ll be disappointed. But if you want to train that brain of yours, that’s a different story. These tools and tasks take on a whole new purpose then, one with practical ends. I’m not sure you’ll enjoy your time with Big Brain Academy: Brain vs Brain. But I’m certain your time playing the game will be well spent.

Many years after the debut of the franchise, Big Brain Academy returns to the scene with an episode that has little new. Although delicious and fun, the exercises proposed by Challenge between minds are in fact twenty, fished out mostly from the titles published at the time on Wii and Nintendo DS.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain brings a unique solo experience while still remaining fun for the whole family. I found some controls frustrating, but it's a great game to wind down with.

I won't find the nigh-endless Sudoku comfort of Brain Age games or the nuanced breadth of a full party game here, but the end result is still welcome and enjoyable. Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain might not be the 2021 valedictorian on Switch, but it certainly earns its passing grade.

I was hoping for some pleasant challenges and... I got a great competition on one couch. The game lacks content, but the one offered can provide players with a lot of pleasant evenings – you just need to have the right team.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is some of the most fun you can have with plain edutainment, as it cleverly hides its educational aspects under a layer of competitiveness and a cute but friendly presentation. It’s a bit expensive, and I think its amount of minigames is a bit subpar, but it’s a very enjoyable experience if you tackle it for around 10 minutes a day.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain manages to successfully bring the dormant franchise to the new generation. Its almost complete focus on multiplayer and the relatively low number of minigames preclude a more incisive recommendation, but players who are aware of what to expect will find here one of the best educational games in years. After all, who was it who said that training your own brain can't be fun?

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is a solid single player experience that is a pleasure to return to, even on a day to day basis. It might not unlock and skyrocket your mind’s genius-o-mometer to heightened levels but is definitely an entertaining way to keep yourself sharp and less dreary.

I'm happy to say that Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is super-fun whether you're playing by yourself or with friends. It may not have much long-lasting appeal but it's certainly worth adding to your multiplayer playlist, especially if you enjoy mini-games.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is a solid collection of mental exercises, but the focus on competition loses the game some of its friendly, self-improvement vibe.

‎A good collection of mental agility tests, with which to put in shape the different areas of our brain. Regarding the games that came out on Nintendo DS, Wii and Wii U, it incorporates multiplayer modes, both local (4 players in TV mode and 2 in portable mode) and online against "ghosts" of other players.‎

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is a good workout for the mind, captivating enough to entertain; still, it would have deserved more content.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain shines as a party game, adopting a family-friendly approach that evens the playing field regardless of each player's age and experience. We had a lot of fun with our family and friends across the 20 puzzle activities featured in this accessible and budget-priced package. It's just a pity that there aren't a few more minigames (or a slightly more substantial single-player component) for greater replay value.

Brain Vs. Brain proves the most accessible and competitive Big Brain Academy to date, thanks to asynchronous scoring tables online, but this program lacks some innovation as well as overall content to attract lots of students for a long time.

When adapting to its aging mechanics, BloodRayne: ReVamped is very playable and is much more enjoyable experience than its sequel. It is because it is a simpler game, it has less to fumble and is a more focused action game.

A fun little party puzzler, Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain gives the ol’ neurons a thorough workout in a jolly, well-presented package. While its single-player mode lacks longevity and will only keep the most dedicated brainiacs engaged, the sheer maddening joy of trying to compete in its frantic multiplayer offering is delightful and sure to keep your grey matter nice and juicy. Between its smooth touchscreen controls, charming presentation, and customisable difficulty options, Big Brain Academy provides a solid party experience for the whole family.
