Theatrhythm Final Bar Line Reviews
Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line is an impressive feat. We hit credits on it, but we feel like we've only scratched the surface of its colossal 400+ song list. The love and passion for the series is apparent throughout every inch of this project, and we'd recommend it to anyone interested in rhythm games. Packed with absolute bangers, Final Bar Line will keep you busy for a long time.
Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line takes a great opportunity and make a strong go of it. Gameplay feels good, and customization options give you nice flexibility to cater to your style. A couple things don't mesh nicely, but the game itself is a complete rhythm package of great gameplay and fantastic songs.
Quibbles aside, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is exactly what it's selling - a celebration of 35 years' worth of Final Fantasy music that's packed with nostalgia and rhythm game mechanics. With songs from other Square Enix IPs available as bonus content, there's still plenty to keep players busy even after the ending. Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is an enjoyable, whimsical rhythm game that should appeal to Final Fantasy fans, no matter where they started with the series. As celebrations go, this one's a winner.
I absolutely adore Theatrhythm Final Bar Line as it's a loving celebration of both the Final Fantasy franchise and its music. From the cute little chibi depictions of characters and the impressive catalog of songs to the extensive accessibility features and impressive role playing elements, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is a masterful rhythm experience.
Theatrythm Final Bar Line is a terrific musical celebration of the Final Fantasy series that features more than 300 tracks, unlockable characters, and light RPG elements.
Drawing on the soundtracks of all the main chapters of Final Fantasy and most of its increasingly numerous spin-offs, the Japanese partnership composed of Square Enix and indieszero has been able to give shape once again to an exciting rhythm game, which sees in the content component its main merit.

Thankfully, these systems can largely be ignored at your discretion. There’s even a Music Player (and an Auto mode) for those who just want to listen to the songs instead of tapping along to them. The game doesn’t do anything to demonstrate a sense of history or growth between its 385 songs, but it doesn’t need to. No matter how much Final Bar Line may flatten its inspirations down to a single two-dimensional chibi art style, the music sings for itself.
More than that, it pays mechanical homage by providing tangible RPG elements that complement the rhythm game portions without overwhelming them. When you pair this with a sizable amount of high quality tunes and room for mechanical improvement for the player, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line has a lot to give rhythm game fans and Final Fantasy fans alike.
Theatrhythm Final Bar Line must be seen as a huge and ultimate update of remarkable richness and generosity. With even more covered episodes and music, always effective mechanics, it will hypnotize music game lovers and Final Fantasy fans alike. An ode to the composers who have built the reputation of the license and an infinite pleasure difficult to sulk. An encore repetita that catches like a siren song.

If you want to have a good time with the best Final Fantasy themes, you definitely have to check it out, whether you played a couple of games or if you are the biggest fan of the saga. In the same way, if you have not played anything in the series, it would still be interesting for you to try it, especially if rhythm games seem interesting to you.

Theatrythm Final Bar Line is a good celebration of Final Fantasy's musical history. While a few key songs are behind a paywall or missing entirely, fans will find a lot to like here.
Offering a definitive package for both rhythm game players and Final Fantasy fanatics alike, Final Bar Line is a certified must play.
Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line revisits music-driven gaming experiences with classiness and potent powerfulness that will make any Final Fantasy music-lover happy. It contains a fair amount of challenge, sometimes an impossible amount depending on difficulty, while also allowing you to enjoy decades of musical enlightenment the Final Fantasy series has created.
If you're a longtime Final Fantasy fan who greatly appreciates the franchise's musical legacy, Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line is a game that celebrates that. It holds up as a rhythm game, with complex and engaging gameplay and decent integration of obligatory Final Fantasy RPG mechanics. With its expansive track list, adorable visuals, and large roster of characters to collect, it is a joy to play through the musical history of this classic RPG series, either alone or against others. While it doesn't really aspire to be much more than that, if you are fine with that, then Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line is certainly worth checking out.
Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is a great musical adventure through the past of the Final Fantasy series and celebrates everything from the 8-bit chiptune days to the crystal clear renditions of the Final Fantasy VII remake, the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Online (With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award-winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 for free with no restrictions on playtime.), and Final Fantasy XV. While those of us with less than 20/20 vision might struggle with the speed and location of the notes, others will have a toe-tapping good time from start to finish.
Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is more than a love letter to Final Fantasy and its esteemed soundtracks—it’s a robust hybrid of RPG elements and rhythm gameplay, bolstered by accessibility options and a mountain of content, building on its 3DS forefathers in every way.
Final Bar Line is another fantastic entry in a great rhythm series, propped up by an enormous catalog of essential video game music and a variety of fun and engaging (if slightly superfluous) systems. Whether you enjoyed the 3DS entries or you're a Final Fantasy fan ready to dive in for the first time, there's a lot to love here even with some minor frustrations.
A captivating rhythm game that, with tons of contents, will make your Final Fantasy's heart beat fast.
