Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Reviews
While I’m not the kind of person to believe in destiny or feeling nostalgic for certain aspects of gaming, I do believe there’s a time and place for everything. If we lived in an alternate reality in which the industry went hard into third person shooters during the PlayStation 4 era instead of the open world craze, “Space Marine 2” would be just another game in my library. As of 2024, it’s fresh, it’s a great comeback to an era that I didn’t know I sorely missed. You don’t see games like these, with this kind of polish and attention to detail and packing so much stuff in its launch. I don’t want it to become the norm, quite the contrary, I want the industry to innovate more as the years go by. But, much like “Advanced Warfighter” — a game that pleasantly surprised me on how it played out on consoles and how much I missed it its style — sometimes it’s good to go back to the drawing board, pick a subgenre that was a big hit during a certain period and improve upon. Saber did that masterfully.
Space Marine 2 is an incredible game and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a good old fashion 3rd person shooter. Death to the Corpse Emperor! Umm I mean for Courage and Honor Brother.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is quite literally the game we all needed. With its smooth but still fast gameplay and great story, it's well worth a try if you like gunning down endless swarms of aliens. At the same time, there's never a dull moment when simply exploring and taking in all the detail that the world has to offer.
Warhammer 40K Space Marine II is a love letter to Warhammer fans, and it is a very attractive game for new players, due to the uniqueness of the world, the fun and violence of the gameplay that makes you engage with it to the utmost degree, and a very great visual and technical level . all of these are aspects that make bloodletting Tyranids fun despite some of the game's obvious flaws.

Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 is a fantastic third-person shooter that I highly recommend not only for fans of the franchise, but anyone who’s curious about it. It’s one of the more solid shooter campaigns released in recent years, with co-op features that make it a real treat with friends.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II is superb. Its campaign is well-written, its characters are engaging, and the complicated nature of working in the shadows allows for some tense moments that shine. Warhammer 40K deserved a visually impressive and chunky return, and Space Marine II is a bloody good time, and a game worthy of the Emperor.
Space Marine 2 is not only a complete package in an age of games as a service selling promises, but also an extremely fun third person action game made by people who clearly love the setting and wanted to share that love with the fans.
Space Marine 2 is a must-play title that immerses the player in the heart of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. With solid gameplay and stunning technical aspects, Saber Interactive's title delivers a brutal and satisfying combat experience, especially in melee combat.

Warhamer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is the perfect entry point to the world of Warhammer 40,000. It features overwhelmingly bloody combat, an engaging story, and smooth controls that put you right in the boots of the Ultramarine soldiers fighting in the ongoing war against the Tyranids.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is the quintessential scifi action game experience you need to tune to if you fancy bloodshed, some co-op and PvP, and an all-round great-to-control 3D beat-em-up with solid gunplay. [...] A god emperor-worthy sequel to a 2011 gem, long story short.
Despite some drawbacks, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is the best new entry in the series that fans and newcomers alike can appreciate.
Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 is an action-packed sequel, with hundreds of creatures filling the screen. The story may be confusing for newcomers to this universe, but it's made up for by addictive gameplay.

Space Marine 2 is everything a 40K fan would want in a game, with intense combat and detailed customization. While an unremarkable story and server issues hold the game back from true greatness, the experience on offer is well worth the $70 price tag with a plethora of content that calls back to the games of the early 2010s with a main story, PvP, and co-op mode to ensure you’ll happily spend hours slaying Xenos.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a delightful surprise this year, offering a concise yet engaging and explosive shooter experience. The game features an immersive plot that respects your time, providing 10-12 hours of captivating dark sci-fi fantasy, perfect for a weekend binge. The game excels with its frenetic gunplay, intense action, and mysterious world, reminiscent of classic corridor shooters like Gears of War. It introduces enough variety and novelty, such as verticality and base defense objectives, to keep players constantly engaged. While the interface may initially seem basic, the relentless action ensures an appreciation for its straightforward gameplay.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II is a fantastic PvE shooter with a great story, brilliant level design, and multiplayer options that will keep you engrossed long after you beat the main campaign. The customization options are intricate and incredibly detailed and the game serves as a great jumping off point, regardless of how much you know about the broader Warhammer 40k universe.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is simply amazing. Even if you haven't played the original or are unaware of the Warhammer lore or the franchise in general, you'll still get a taste of the game's heightened thrill after playing it. The endless warfare made the Space Marines so fun to play, and Space Marine 2 is the ideal setting for those who remain faithful to the franchise.
While the campaign of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 falls a bit short, every other aspect of the game is beyond stellar and it turned out to be a sequel worth waiting for.
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is a game for fans of the franchise and newcomers alike, providing great cinematic action gameplay and genuine fun that can be experienced alone or with a group. It’s my favorite game of the year so far, and try as I might, I can’t find anything to complain about. It’s just plain good.
A shooter created especially for fans of the saga who do not like strategy and who want to annihilate enemies of the Imperium with sword blows and Bolter shots. For The Emperor!

Start to finish, Space Marine 2 is a complete blast, with all the hallmarks of being a big action blockbuster. Titus continues to be a compelling character and we’re lucky we got to see more of him; it was a long wait but damn was it worth it.
