Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Reviews
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave stays on your mind long after you put the controller down. Even after 105 hours, I’m still planning out teams and classes. A tactical behemoth that’s incredibly difficult to put down.

Boasting exceptional tactical turn-based combat and massive replay value across four distinct hero paths, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is an epic addition to the franchise that delivers tremendous bang for your buck. While repetitive weekly chores and a pointless dungeon Clash system drag on the pacing, the rich lore and tense, strategic battles make it an easy recommendation for strategy RPG fans.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave provides an excellent pairing of combat strategy and management, with compelling stories spread across each of its four heroes that come together to form one phenomenal RPG.
A synergy of everything that has made the series great for generations, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave hits the pinnacle of combat design, and is a sumptuous feast of a game.
Fortune's Weave takes the foundations of modern Fire Emblem, stretches them further than I could have ever expected, and somehow makes that enormous ambition feel justified.
The conceit of the Heroic Games also allows for elaborate arena set pieces
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave will easily eat up all your time for months to come, and it's worthwhile to see these Heroic Games through to their conclusion.
Fortune’s Weave demands much — both in terms of time and of mental investment — but gives just as much in return.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is a sprawling masterpiece of a strategy RPG, building upon the successes of past Fire Emblem games with new interconnected elements, expertly designed combat puzzles, and an emphasis on flexibility and choice.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is gigantic. That vastness can occasionally act as a barrier between the player and the core tactics, but it is somehow able to support all that weight with memorable battles and a sharp gameplay loop. In the end, the only major problem is vacuous writing -- and lots of it.
On the whole, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is dense, deep, and really rather delightful. It can sometimes feel like a bit too much of a good thing, with the pacing slipping in the later chapters, thanks to an unnecessarily complicated protagonist hierarchy and some grindy map management, but the battles have never felt better, and there's no knocking the sheer amount to do.It takes a lot for a game to hold my attention for as long as Fortune's Weave, and with a bunch of content still waiting for me, I'll be happy to pour even more days into it.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave continues the franchise tradition of combining addictive strategy combat with an expansive, complex story in a huge fantasy kingdom.
A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage. Once I finally got past the anime artstyle and daunting tactical gameplay, I was hooked. Fire Emblem's arduous onboarding for a newcomer is a minor roadblock in the way of an epic, sprawling, time-consuming adventure that's fun, challenging, and very enjoyable.
The best Fire Emblem game of the modern era and a staggering achievement in terms of the volume of content and the variety of gameplay – with even the plot taking some unexpected detours.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave shines in its combat possibilities, creating truly memorable moments. A slightly more restrained and differentiated approach to its four stories might have been the perfect finishing touch.

Intelligent Systems delivers supreme tactical combat in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave with refined mechanics and a plethora of options to choose from, and a story that is uniquely structured in a way that encourages fans to overturn every stone. It’s sure to delight fans of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but is also independent enough that newcomers shouldn’t feel lost. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is the dense, character-rich RPG that I’ve been waiting to play on my Switch 2.
Of course, there's no denying that its structure is, to say the least, unique. And there will probably be some people who find it difficult to grasp... But if you're a strategy enthusiast who enjoys meticulous management and min-maxing to build the best possible army, here's a tremendous SRPG and a bottomless pit of hours. Well, more than a pit... a cauldron.

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is a massive game with excellent turn-based tactics battles, but some of its side content drags.
