It's a shame what happened to Crash Although Naughty Dog moved on to bigger things, I wouldn't necessarily call all of them better. The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy serves as a time capsule of sorts before the series was ran into the ground, and my only major regret is that I wish it had CTR as the cherry on top.

Vicarious Visions has put an incredible lot of passion and effort into making a truly remastered bundle, but the games themselves have awfully aged and aren't a welcoming experience to beginners as mush as they are an excuse to revisit some old memories.

It's a real pleasure to play through three games that defined a console, and seeing Crash on PS4 is great. He's finally home, and right where he should be.

If you ever had any love for the originals, you'll smile like an idiot seeing how good they look now. But if you've never played these classics before, the updated graphics are a great excuse to see why so many people cried when Crash went away in the first place.

While the N. Sane Trilogy is by no means the perfect and/or flawless remaster fans and interested onlookers may have wanted, there's no denying that a lot of Vicarious' microscopic and macroscopic attention to detail alike is demonstrated sufficiently well in Crash's current-gen revisit.

With the N.Sane Trilogy, Vicarious Visions team did a truly excellent job- indeed, it is a product made with utmost skill and passion. The amazing value for money and the great respect shown to its predecessor make it a collection that just can't be missed, whether you are a long time fan of Crash Bandicoot or you're getting to know the series just now.

An excellent remaster from a trio of excellent games. If you loved the character or the platforming genre, you should buy this pack.

Fans of Crash Bandicoot haven't had the best of luck in recent years. In fact, the last good game with the iconic platform hero was the Chrash Bandicoot 3: Warped for the first Playstation. This remaster includes the first three games, and adding shiny new graphics along with several improvements. A must-buy if you loved the series back in the 90's.

There's a golden glow around memories that gets brighter with age, but it also tends to distract from old frustrations. If you're ready for a quick trip — and I mean quick — down memory lane, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy doesn't disappoint. Vicarious Visions' faithfulness to the series satisfies some nostalgic cravings, but once the novelty wears off, the cracks can't help but show.

This remake was keen to preserve the classic gameplay with presenting a beautiful artistic direction that is closer to the original. Some may have trouble in controlling the game, but as you get used to Crash's moves you'll find yourself jumping among all the stages in a fast smooth way. Until you start noticing that the stages are similar in design in all the 3 games and the sterile camera method are the two points that did not make the game age well.

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has exceeded my expectations as an overall package. Vicarious Visions have done a really good job at improving the overall presentation of all three games as well as fine-tuning things such as the save system and added time trials. Above all, they've accomplished this whilst maintaining the core platforming aspects that made Crash so memorable to begin with.

Visually, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is the most impressive remaster I have ever seen! The leap from PS1 to PS4 graphics is truly fascinating. You get three already awesome games made even better – including new bonus content – for only $39.99. That’s a really great deal you shouldn’t miss.

Overall, Crash N. Sane Trilogy delivers everything what I expected as a remastered title. It was simple and nostalgic. Even without the original developers, Activision and Vicarious Visions pulled this off by bringing back what made the series great and legendary. This may not be for everyone especially for newcomers, but this is still a hell lot of fun. I’m still hoping for a Crash Team Racing or Crash Bash remastered version though. A DLC maybe? Who knows? So far, this is the best game that was fully remastered, and I’m hoping for more.

It's hard to know where to stop when talking about Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Its visuals are dynamite, the rebuilt cutscenes stoke excitement in any Crash fan, the music is higher-quality than ever, and the little alterations Vicarious Visions made make a huge difference.

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was clearly developed with a love and passion for those original games. The updated graphics are a beautiful sight to behold, even if you aren't using a PS4 Pro, and yet these are the same quirky platformers that we came to love and be frustrated with in the '90s. Some of the original design idiosyncrasies are still in place, but the majority of memories made with Crash are good ones, and I never want them to change. Significant replayability and an excellent entry price point make the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy a benchmark for how future classic game remakes should be handled, the originals left intact, imperfections and all.
