Far Cry 5 Reviews
Far Cry 5 offers the first time for fans of the series a total freedom to do everything. Instead of just wandering freely in the environment, the game will give you complete freedom in the way you progress in the story that may make the story of some disjointed and unconnected, The game also offers a variety of play styles that are the best in the current generation with many options for players to perform various quests in the game. In short, Far Cry 5 offers new ideas but in the same style of the series.

Far Cry 5 isn't revolutionizing open world gaming, but it is a perfection of one of Ubisoft's most noteworthy series. With a captivating scenario, diverse gameplay options, breathtaking background, and a colorful cast of characters, Far Cry 5 is primed as one of 2018's earliest Game of the Year contenders, and potentially the best title in the series to date. Through more thoroughly leaning into the concepts of open-world design, Ubisoft has managed to craft a game that will really scratch your itch for exploration.
Far Cry 5 is as good as we were wishing, offering a great campaign with lots of freedom and things to do, a satisfying narrative and surprising multiplayer options through Far Cry Arcade. A pretty complete pack.

Far Cry 5 never decides what game it wants to be.
To my surprise, I still enjoy Far Cry's particular blend of lush environments, fluid combat, and crazy happenings — like hunting a wolverine, then stumbling into a firefight full of exploding vehicles, or crashing a helicopter into an airplane and nabbing a trophy in the process ("Squash and Run").
A few things missed the mark that shouldn't have, but I generally got what I expected from Far Cry 5; a fun, open-world game worth the price tag and not to be taken too seriously.
Far Cry 5 is another improvement to a series that hit its stride quite a long time ago. It gets a recommendation not because of any of its individual features, but because they all combine together into a game that becomes paradoxically funny and horrifying, occasionally at the same time.
Far Cry 5, following the steps of the previous episodes, offers a very large map to explore and a lot of things to do, with a good first person shooter experience and interesting action/stealth possibilities. The game is not perfect in all of its aspects, but it's often very funny and always enjoyable, with a very fascinating and unique antagonist.

Far Cry 5 is an amazing action game that keeps the essence of the saga. However, its weak plot and map division are elements that make this game inferior to its previous installments.

If you liked the other Far Cry games, you'll like this one, because it's more of the same. Some of the series conventions have been taken away (like having to climb towers, thank God), or improved, but it's still very much a Far Cry game.
Simply put, Far Cry 5 is the best Far Cry game to date. It has the best story, the best progression and introduces a lot of changes (for the good) while maintaining that explosive old formula that works so freaking well. God Bless Hope County

Far Cry 5 is a solid first-person shooter set in a vibrant, breathtaking location. It plays well, looks great, and is packed with enough content to keep players invested in Hope County for a good, long while. Though Joseph Seed and Eden's Gate work better in theory than in practice, the Montana-based doomsday cult marks a departure for the franchise that pays off.
The best Far Cry yet and one of the best open world shooters of any kind, with an impressive variety of missions and non-linear structure.
Picturesque setting and unsurprisingly polished game mechanics aside, I came away wishing for something a bit more nourishing.
For both better and worse, Far Cry 5 is a far cry from those that came before, though it's still a lot of fun to play.
We didn't get it with the last two entries in the series, but Far Cry 5 feels like the generational leap that fans have been waiting for. This installment certainly feels like the biggest in terms of content and it just might be the best Far Cry game to date.
Ultimately, Far Cry 5 is a relentlessly fun, aggressively varied open world shooter that will keep you hooked for dozens and dozens of hours. The game's world has never felt more alive, brimming with animal ecosystems, serene lakes, and verdant forests, with spectacular scenery just begging to be screenshotted.
Far Cry 5 is the best addition to the franchise for quite a while and it is well worth spending many hours visiting Montana.
