Ghost of a Tale is a triumph of storytelling. It's complex narrative and stunning character writing bump this mechanically successful game to the category of a hidden gem.

Ghost of a Tale is an adventure of epic proportions that despite the development difficulties and the small budget, stands out, exactly like its small protagonist, with courage towards the challenges and the impossible.

Ghost of a Tale is an interesting world full of lore that begs to be explored despite the few design choices that keep it from becoming the greatness that it has potential for.

A lovely action-RPG for whom is tired of quest marks and sprawling open worlds.

Ghost of a Tale is a great stealth and exploration adventure where you can see the care and dedication that it has had almost entirely for one person. Polishing some rough edges that it presents and correcting some bugs makes it an almost perfect title.

Ghost of a Tale has charming characters, lore, and brilliant storytelling. All together they provide an immersive world for the player to get lost in. While it does have a few little hiccups with the graphics, it is not enough to spoil the gameplay. Ghost of a Tale is a lovely game with a meaningful story. With a great cast of characters, a game all enthusiasts of adventure, role-playing genres should try. I challenge you to not fall in love with Tilo. It is a challenge I would say is impossible as Tilo is so cute!!

Ghost of a Tale is and does a lot of things, some impressive but not all of them great triumphs.

Ghost of a tale gives us a nostalgic game, beautiful to watch, but that shows us the raw struggle of our protagonist to save his beloved and escape from the enemies that pursue us. Full of details, nooks and crannies to slide through and a labyrinthine mapping, we have a game for a while if we get carried away by all the secondary missions that they pose us.

Ghost of a Tale has given us the emotion of feeling comfortably lost: there you are, facing a hostile world and not really knowing where to go or what to do. And yet, against all odds, we enjoy ourselves like a child.

A Ghost of a Tale is a solid vision, and done justice given its the development constraints.

The wondrous Dwindling Heights is well designed and gives Tilo plenty of opportunities to use his mousey avoidance skills and disguises to help characters. Although there is occasionally too much backtracking, Ghost of a Tale holds a memorable journey in its tiny paws.

It is unfortunate that a game with so many qualities provides a frustrating experience because of technical problems. Despite the limitations, Ghost of a Tale is good and can be much better after a few patches.

Ghost of a Tale is heavily influenced by the Souls series, and one would wonder why? It definitely suffers from tons of issues and technical difficulties, and unless you are a hardocre Stealth fan, you'll probably have a hard time enjoying its beautiful (but full of technical issues) visuals and appealing (but full of cliches) story.

Great debut for SeithCG. Stealth mechanic is far from being great, but stunning visuals and smart level design is what really involves you into the beautifully grim world of Ghost of a Tale.

Upon first glance, it could be easy to mistake Ghost of a Tale as a mid-level developed game from a small company. It isn’t until the closing moments of the game where SeithCG’s limitations reveal themselves. It may not be best played on Nintendo Switch, but Ghost of a Tale is definitely worth a look on other platforms.

Ghost of a Tale is just a beautiful dream – flawed. Superb characters, cool story and pretty graphics fall under the spell of clunky gameplay. It would be good if the world was big, open and inviting or if the game had 50% les quests and a shorter story. Tilo’s adventure is more of a movie material than a game – it lacks the input of experienced developers.

Ghost of a Tale is a game made with love and for lovers of beautiful things. The principles are quite generic (we look for keys, which open doors that unlock new possibilities...), but they are articulated with care and intelligence. If you like to think and play with elegance while having a good time, here is a title that should be played. Ghost of a tale is well worth it. Just to encourage the creation of other games of this caliber. The animators of the cinema get along well with video games !

Ghost of a Tale is one of the most unique action role-playing games released in recent times. Its highlights are the charming story and characters as well as the stealth-focused gameplay. Sadly, some technical issues do get in the way on PlayStation 4, preventing the game from reaching its full potential. However, if you're looking for a game that can make you think, look no further, as Ghost of a Tale tackles a handful of very important issues in a mature and very thoughtful way.
