Conan Exiles Reviews
Hardcore fans of the survival genre may find it really fun to try and build a small empire in the exiled lands of the Conan universe but newcomers may find that it is uneven and janky.
Conan Exiles takes a more mature approach to the survival/crafting genre and fulfils all your barbaric desires
There are many dangers and challenges in the lands of Conan the Barbarian. It is great open world survival game with powerful building system and many possibilities.

Conan Exiles has several flaws that can ward off players interested in the world of the famous barbarian, but also shows quality in their primary functions. A cooperative experience further enhances the quality of the game and ensures good fun if the various technical and visual problems are ignored.

Conan Exiles is enjoyable enough, but it does reveal some fundamental weaknesses in the survival genre; it's not one that can be tuned effectively to storytelling, and that means that if you're using a storytelling property, such as Conan, you're going to need to exhibit a great deal over control to bring the necessary focus into the experience, and unfortunately the developers weren't able to quite get there with Conan Exiles.
Conan Exiles really shocked me in a good way because honestly I didn’t expect such a huge amazing survival game that could make me to play over 70 hours in just few days! Man… this game is really really huge game with amazing amount of content that worth your every penny you sold to buy this game. We must mention that Conan Exiles has some technical problems, bugs and also big voice issues but these problems are so Negligible prepare to positive elements of the game. Conan Exiles is a really “Survival” game and you need to be extremely patient when you play it and be ready to click on every points of its huge world and collect items to become stronger very slow, specially if you play offline solo. In fact playing this game in offline solo is so overwhelming and I absolutely suggest you that play Conan Exiles online and co-op to see all beautiful contents of the game and more importantly grow faster in its huge world. Conan Exiles Undoubtedly is one the best survival game that we ever seen and worth your time and money very well.

Conan Exiles is dated and full of bugs, but it's also very fun due to a good story and huge amount of contents, and if you can overlook its many technical issues, you might end up having a great time playing it.

I really liked Conan Exiles. It drops you into an intense and brutal world, and it has deep gameplay mechanics that rewards you for digging deeper into the game. There is potential for some really cool things you can do, and this is the type of game in which you can spend 100+ hours playing. The combat is a bit too simple for my taste, so hopefully that is improved as the game is updated. I'd also like to see how Funcom can evolve the Thrall system some more but, overall, this is an easy game to recomend.
Conan Exiles seems to always be flirting with a good idea, before dropping that and doubling down on being terrible. There is a lot of promise when the game starts out, and between the intense mood and solid survival mechanics, it seems like there might actually be a good time in store. However, in the sixty or seventy hours that follow, disappointment slowly builds until the whole adventure ends with a pitiful thud. The combat is dreadfully boring, and there are so many bad ideas that work against its core survival mechanic that it is a wonder the game stays interesting as long as it does. Destined to be exiled to the bargain bin, Conan Exiles is worth little more than a passing glance, and only for the hardcore survival genre enthusiasts.
After finally going out of Xbox Live Preview we get an unstable mess riding on the wave of Ark and similar titles. Interesting setting may not be enough to offset all the flaws. But it looks good, plays alright, and gives us direction, which is way more than other titles of this genre can offer.

Conan Exiles is probably the most interesting survival game yet, despite the minor technical issues. If you're looking for an original survival title with enjoyable gameplay, you've just hit the jackpot.

Well worth a look if you like survival games
Conan Exiles is still a very rough survival game after launch. It has a lot of issues and should be better. It is thematically tied to Conan but Conan really isn’t a part of this game. Buyer Beware.
Conan Exiles is plump with content, combining a sprawling continent with enough progression mechanics to provide endless engagement. However, the game does not feel deserving of its namesake. Between bland combat and an uninspired world, Funcom's Hyboria bears little resemblance to Robert E. Howard's glorious battles and fantastic locales, even failing to live up to its digital forebears. That crafting and community building saves the title from the bin of also-rans similarly seems like a betrayal of the tenets of those time-worn tales. Pedantic literary enthusiasts aside, players will find much to keep them engaged in Conan Exiles, particularly as the developers continue to work on the title in the coming months, ironing out the shortcomings evident in this initial release.
Conan Exiles is a fantastic survival game, arguably one of the genre's best. Right now the game suffers from some ropey console performance, server issues and a range of bugs. But despite these issues the game is a whole lot of fun, especially with friends. Don't sleep on Conan Exiles.
Conan Exiles has grown to be a rather large survival experience that does indeed capture the essence and visceral style of the Conan universe.
There is a little potential buried underneath the rubble that is Conan Exiles. The world, though sparse and slightly ugly does fit the license. The PvP is suitably unforgiving, the challenge of surviving the world brings out the worst in people and the best in the game.
Conan Exiles is a staggeringly deep adventure game, but you may get too frustrated to bother making it to the end.
Overall, the game is superb. I love the hack and slash dynamics. The crafting system is awesome because you really need to go through the hardships and challenges just to craft even a single item. I would recommend that this game be played with friends as it’s the type where it’s more fun playing with others. One of the things I didn’t like is the story, it’s kinda difficult to understand especially to those who haven’t seen anything that’s Conan-related.
Conan Exiles genre-wise is a survival sandbox fantasy game, which cleaves to the ideas and aesthetic of Conan quite nicely. I've read virtually every bit of Conan literature there is to read, and seen the movies, followed the comics. As a fan of Conan in that regard I'm really happy with Conan Exiles since it brings to life part of Conan's world extremely well. From harsh desert climes, to deep jungles and frosty northern wastes, there's a lot to see and do here and many hidden dark secret places that can corrupt the mind just as much as they destroy the body.
