Indivisible is one of the best action role-playing games of the year. Of course it's not flawless and lack of challenges in combat or repetition are totally noticeable, but still, thanks to its impressive art design and deep gameplay and combat system, Indivisible is so enjoyable and entertaining

Indivisible is a great game with lots of positives, but unfortunately some weak RPG elements and wasted potential prevent it from becoming a hit.

It looks good (mostly), and has all the qualities that seem like it would make a great game. Not only does it fail to come together coherently, yet it also it lacks a sense of magic or "heart" that the art style would suggest it possesses. While nothing is largely technically wrong with Indivisible, it fails to be engaging as a RPG, its platforming fails to recommend it on this front, and the story never goes anywhere significant to offer this up either. This isn't bad, but it just isn't that good either.

But it's the characters, music, art-style and worldbuilding that make it truly stand out from other RPG's. Whether it will become a classic like RPG's of old remains to be seen. But Lab Zero Games has shown that they are more than capable of bringing their unique talents to genres other than 2D-fighters and I cannot wait to see what is coming next.

It's great to see a developer so early in its life step out and experiment with new genres, and 505 games has taken its signature art style to create a stunning, original world.

Indivisible will probably disappoint Action-RPG Fans a bit because of the generic rpg features and the missing gameplay depth but the game brings a lot of variety with metroidvania elements, beautiful hand drawn animations and a heartwarming story with a setting that is definitely underrepresented.

Indivisible initially impresses with a tight package that visually stuns but after hours of repetition and ease, I'd rather take some time apart.

It's been about over four years since Indivisible's announcement, but I would have to say that the wait was worth it. Do yourself a huge favor and play this game.

Despite some technical issues and repetitive gameplay, the unique exploration-based platforming and fantastic art style that Indivisible boasts make it an overall fun ride.

Indivisible has taken years to finally release and it was well worth the wait. The incredible graphics, amazing characters, and terrific gameplay combine for an excellent adventure. Ajna's journey from village girl to humanity's savior is a gripping tale full of character-defining moments and outstanding boss fights. It does lack the in-depth customization that RPG fans enjoy and the upgrade system is shallow as well. But these shortcomings rarely hamper what is one of the best games of 2019. Indivisible delights and challenges the player with a beautiful journey that will keep you hooked to the very end.

Hands down one of the best games you’ll experience this year.

Indivisible doesn’t have a great first couple of hours, oscillating between its serious and playful tones so quickly that both are meaningless. The game’s early boss fights are also horribly gimmicky thanks to a tendency to shoehorn awkward real-time sequences into the turn-based combat. Still, Indivisible finds its footing 5+ hours in and maintains a solid stride all the way to the final boss fight, which is one of the worst final encounters I can recall seeing in a game.

When it comes down to it, Indivisible is a game with a ton of love and effort. It may not be for everyone, but it has a clearly visible charm to it that gives it a bright glow.

Indivisible was a game that I would say that, at the end of the day, I enjoyed. There’s a mountain of charm residing in the young teenage body of Ajna and any time she opened her mouth to speak, I found myself laughing out loud. I really enjoyed the battle system as well as the beautifully animated world. Sadly, the issues I had with the game were still pretty big. The combat is fun but it will get dull quick with how ridiculously long fights are. The story is not exactly the most riveting either, but as the old saying goes “It’s not about the final destination but rather the friends you made along the way”.

Between the integration of RPG and platforming mechanics and the downright beautiful presentation, I can easily say that this game is one of the best that I’ve had the pleasure to play this year. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is that its battle design can become repetitive and boring if you let it.

Expertly executed designs, visuals, voiceovers, and musical score still make Indivisible a great joy to behold, but its shortcomings do take away some of the triumph of actually playing it.

Just like in nature, where the platypus, Indivisible is a hodgepodge of ideas that somehow creates the best experience I have had in an indie game all year and is a contender for my game of the year.

Lab Zero Games presents us with a unique title, with an original proposal and a delicious artistic finish that, despite its failures, will have us dazzled for a good handful of hours. A mixture of elements and genres that could be given for several games but presented here in a compact, solid ... indivisible way.
