Despite being essentially the same game that was first released over a decade ago, Persona 4 Golden manages to avoid feeling dated to this day. A great cast of characters, an intriguing murder mystery story, and satisfying storytelling that moves at an unhurried pace are all completed by fun combat mechanics to preserve the game’s high standard.

Persona 4 Golden is akin to observing an artist’s work that serves as a bridge between their early work and their magnum opus. It was a stepping stone between the earlier games and what would become Persona 5. At the same time, it’s a time capsule that perfectly captures the culture and lifestyle of the 2000’s.

Outstanding game, although in this PC version a patch is needed to polish some problems. Outstanding story and amazing gameplay. The Persona saga does not disappoint.

If you have the patience to get through the first ten or so hours and tackle the multitude of systems it throws at you, Persona 4 Golden will reward you with a richly enjoyable JRPG experience, though the misogyny and homophobic content have really not aged it well.

More than 10 years after its original release, Persona 4 Golden is finally available for modern consoles. Its qualities include an engaging investigation story, fun characters, several interesting side quests and challenging battles. Certainly, the ideal would be for it to present improvements over the original, but still, what we have available is worthy of the best JRPGs and a must-have in your library.

Persona 4 Golden is an important and precious exponent of the history of Japanese RPGs and is finally available for Nintendo Switch in a big way. If you like the genre, or simply a good story, clever mechanics and a huge amount of content, don't waste time adding this classic to your hybrid console library.

Persona 4 Golden is a game that combines narrative with turn-based RPG, resulting in remarkable gameplay. A serious story full of mystery with all kinds of characters willing to help, a memorable soundtrack and a lot to experience. A game that everyone should try, especially now that it is in Spanish.

If you're worried about Persona 4 Golden showing its old age, don't, because it maintains its allure and sparkle even after being buried away on the PlayStation Vita for over a decade. Atlus has managed to make the re-release of a re-release of a game that came out in 2008 feel like a fresh new experience. Persona 4 Golden is an absolute must play for any Persona fan, with its immaculate soundtrack, colorful cast of characters, and addictive gameplay loop.

Despite some elements of "Persona 4 Golden's" narrative at points being out dated and wildly bigoted, it is still a classic that is absolutely worth playing.

Persona 4 Golden has cemented its place in the pantheon of great JRPGs, and revisiting the game on a big screen only serves to reinforce that reputation. From its charming young cast to its twisting and turning story, this game has everything that makes a great RPG.

There is so much more I could say about both of these games. I got into the series with Golden and have been wanting it to expand to more consoles ever since. It is great to finally see it everywhere and I hope the series continues that trend going forward. It is by far one of the best RPGs available and should be played by anyone who has ever had a passing interest in the genre. Do not skip this collection, while Persona 3 is a little rough in this day and age it is still an amazing game and Persona 4 Golden is well, the gold standard. I cannot recommend this package enough.

Persona 4 Golden comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch with very little news compared to the original PlayStation Vita but with something that makes it totally irresistible to Spanish-speaking users: the Spanish localization. Despite the fact that these versions show the passing of the years, the technical improvement has been very discreet, and it is only available in digital format, this is a great work and one of the best games in the franchise. No fan of the saga or of RPGs in general can or should let it go.

But what if you're brand new to the Persona series? Then we actually recommend you to get started with "Persona 5 Royal", the latest version of "Persona 5". Since the games do not build on each other and each devour 80 hours of play, it is worth getting started with the most modern and beginner-friendly offshoot. Then you can focus on the classic titles.

If you were wondering if Persona 4 Golden would manage to stand the test of time, don’t worry, it did. Playing it on a console is still as fun as it was on the PS Vita. Even if its visuals aged like curded milk, and the dungeon crawling segments aren’t that engaging, the rest of the game is just too damn entertaining to complain about. The music, the characters, the setting, the fusing system, the fast-paced combat, the utterly fantastic plot… Persona 4 Golden is just great.

Truly a standout JRPG experience, Persona 4 Golden is easily a must-play for any self-respecting RPG fan. Great visuals, excellent music and sound production, and one of best narratives in any RPG cement Persona 4 among the greatest experiences on PS2, PS Vita, and now the modern suite of consoles. Recycled elements from previous entries in the series may annoy some players especially when played in sequence, but while it is showing its age in some other respects, this hardly detracts from the impeccable gold standard it sets for its peers.

My second time around with Persona 4 Golden was still a positive one. While I’m still a little put off by the amount of dialogue the game features, I completely understand that it’s for good reason, as the overall story is absolutely thrilling as it is terrifying. It’s a gorgeous centerpiece to superb gameplay design and I have nothing but praise for it. The only knock with P4G is that I wish it gave more reason to own it on the last and current generation of consoles.
