Nothing else has ever paired high tension with complete silliness like this, and Fall Guys reveals we should've been doing it a long time ago

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a joy to play, fun for all levels of video game players, and will only get better from here.

Prolific server issues and slim bonus settings are holding Fall Guys back for now, but for the time being, the wobbly obstacle course battle royale forges its own path. It's easy to envision the game only getting bigger from here on out—especially considering this launch era has been declared as Season 1, battle pass and all. As a foundation, Fall Guys is an endlessly engaging one. I'll be chuckling as I fumble to finish lines for quite some time.

A collection of exciting minigames and a burst of every colour under the rainbow makes Fall Guys a consistent delight.

...failure is part of the fun, and Fall Guys makes failing so much fun, that I’ve never been happier to be a fervent failure in an online video game.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is sweeping the globe with its popularity, but is it any good? With a ridiculous number of players trying to play the game on launch, Fall Guys seems to be the next big multiplayer game, but does it have staying power? Will it become a battle royale titan, or will we forget it in a week's time?

Fall Guys with its fun mini-games is a guarantee for a good mood, but it lacks variety in the long run.

I’m not sure how much longevity it’ll have compared to other multiplayer games, but the fact it’s so enjoyable to watch and easy to learn means it’ll at least be the go-to party game for the rest of the year.

In its current state with the solid start it has gotten off to, Fall Guys is already an extremely enjoyable and unique game. With a little bit of work, it might just become the best new multiplayer release of the year.

There is a very promising kernel at the core of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. With some more game mode variety, some basic controller and accessibility options, and a stable player base, I could see it being a great alternative to other live-service games. It just isn’t quite there yet.

Full of cute and cuddly jellybean dude bumbling into each other in a race for the crown, Fall Guys is just about the most wholesome battle royale imaginable, and a whole lot of fun.

There is a very good reason why Fall Guys has taken the world by storm already; it is absurdly, addictively brilliant fun. Give in to the jelly beans, you will not regret it.

This is only the beginning, as Fall Guys is poised to evolve and grow from its launch to reach new, dizzying heights. You won’t find anything so dynamic and unpredictable. Fumbles, stumbles, and successes are all the reasons why you watch physical game shows like newcomers “Holey Moley” or “Cannonball” or classics like “MXC”. Mark my words: Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is the hit of the summer, the year, and beyond.

Fall Guys is a crazy and cozy take of the battle royale concept. Mediatonic did a brillaint job to create a social platform with 11 hectic event, with the classic "easy to learn, hard to master" party gameplay. If the British studio will keep to support the game with new contents, it has the chance to become a proper classic.

Much like a goofy game show, the zany antics of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will appeal to gamers of all types. Though the first season has some nasty bugs and Show duds, those that bring some patience into this battle royale will enjoy their race to the top.

Fall Guys is a masterful mix of party and prowess, held back only by lack of variety and a few lackluster games.

Fall Guys is silly and stupid fun, and that is perfectly okay. It just needs a bit more variety and the RNG feeling of the team based mini-games are a real downer. The game is a nearly perfect platform to be expanded upon and I hope that’s the case going forward.

For anyone long-tired of self-serious, ultra-violent Battle Royale games, Fall Guys is an arm-flailingly silly rebuke, and one of the most deliriously entertaining multiplayer games I’ve played in years.
