Hades Reviews
To that end, I'm headed back into Hell with a smile. Hades is some of the most fun I've had playing something, and I would recommend it to anyone.
With an excellent developed narrative, amazing localization in Portuguese and impeccable artistic direction, Hades arrives very well on PlayStation, showing that it can be even better than what we could've imagined. It's one of the most addictive games I've played in recent years.

Hades throws us into the middle of a family untie, in which the juvenile Priests of the Underworld cringe to know a new world. Supergiant Games offers a packed croissant and one of the most interesting productions of 2020. Play!

On top of all this Hades also offers a harder game mode called Hell Mode, which unlocks the pact of punishment from the start of the game and adds five mandatory modifiers to the pact which increases the difficulty considerably from the start, perfect for players seeking to really test their limits. Hades, with its fast-paced and occasionally unforgiving death mechanics, possibly isn’t a game for everyone. However, with its decently low price point and wonderful artwork and story, in combination with the amazingly well designed mechanics, Hades is a gem that’s hard to pass up.
Hades is certainly one of the best games in 2020 and will remain in the mind for years to come. Also, the creators of Rogue-like or Rogue-lite titles have to work hard to defeat Hades in the years to come because defeating it is not easy task. This game will have a significant impact on its genre, specially in terms of narrative.

Hades is just all around good. From its tremendous voice acting and intriguing story to its fun combat and insanely addicting gameplay loop, there is little wrong here. Graphically it's a little dated and its difficulty wall will be off-putting to many, but these are about the only major issues. Otherwise, the fun of trying "just one more time" mixed with trying to get all the right power ups in a run is a rare entertaining time. Fans of Rogue-likes owe it to themselves to check this out, especially since it is less than half the price of AAA titles.
A very good story with unexpected and unique storytelling, varied gameplay, interesting bosses, a dazzling world and art direction, breathtaking music and details, a satisfying challenge to your playstyle and a test of your skills; are all reasons why Hades is the best and most mature game from Supergiant Games studio, and one of the best Rogue-Like games ever ... and definitely a strong potential for "Game of the Year 2020".

The three-pronged combination of satisfying moment-to-moment combat, a plethora of long-term permanent upgrades, and an intricately woven story that seamlessly unfolds make Hades a dangerously enjoyable game.
Hades is a phenomenal effort from Supergiant. Dripping with the stylish substance we've come to expect from the studio and centered around brilliant gameplay, this is one action roguelike that you'll need to check out.
Hades is an end-to-end delight, from one of the most vividly creative studios going around. Supergiant Games has taken a genre that is overused to the point of exhaustion, and found a way to make it interesting all over again. It's a game that plays on the primal, viseral sensations of movement and rhythm, but it delivers it with such precision that it is nothing short of hypnotic.
Hades is a remarkable masterpiece with incredibly intense gameplay and deep soulful narrative. Pure gaming ambrosia.

I am not done putting hours into Hades, not by a long shot, and as somebody who is not usually a fan of this genre I really do think that says something. Add to this yet another incredible soundtrack for Supergiant's catalogue and some of the best character designs these mythological figures have ever seen, and Hades is seriously a game that you should not miss. If you like the genre, this is an absolute must buy, and if you don't it may still be worth it to give Hades a look.
Hades is Supergiant's best game yet, and that is high praise. While it lacks some of the emotional punch of Bastion, that is basically the only area where it lags behind. The characters are likeable, the gameplay is phenomenally fun, the soundtrack is amazing, and the entire game is a joy. Even if you're not a fan of roguelikes, it's worth giving Hades a shot because it is the embodiment of a roguelike done right. It's easily one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch, and it's a solid port. Hades is a must-play and easily one of the best games of the year.
Hades on PS5 has been my favorite way to play, and I’m excited more people will be able to dive into Hell.
Hades is in the upper echelon of roguelikes so if you enjoy action-packed combat, concise yet engaging stories, and unlocking rewarding goodies then you'll have a phenomenal amount of fun trying to escape the Underworld.
OK, so I’ll admit the folks at Supergiant Games (behind the favorites Bastion and Transistor in particular) had me with the fact that they decided to make a roguelike to begin with...
Hades is a lot of fun and has set the standard for what a roguelite can and should be.
