Fans of the original Fitness Boxing will feel at home with this sequel, if a little disappointed that it isn't quite the evolution it could have been. A few new instructors and an improved achievements system isn't quite enough to make up for the fact that this still suffers from many of its predecessor's issues, most notably its disappointingly small selection of music and the terrible unlicensed instrumental versions it provides.

The general presentation isn't anything special, the responsiveness isn't as tight as I'd hoped,  and the music featured does nothing to make me feel motivated whilst training, however, there's still a solid fitness experience that'll appeal to a lot of people who need that extra push over the Christmas period.

I really can't say anything overly negative about Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise because, despite the issues it has, it will produce results if you keep at it. And that's the ultimate goal when buying an exercise game. But at $50, you really have to ask yourself if it wouldn't be worth it to spend a little more money to get a vastly superior experience. If this is all you're willing to spend and you don't already own a fitness game, then go for it. But if you have the cash, you'll likely be better served by Ring Fit Adventure.

If you're coming to Fitness Boxing 2 fresh-faced and don't own the first game, then it might be worth picking up. However, if you played the first one or if you own Ring Fit Adventure, it's incredibly hard to recommend it unless you're really into thirsting over the instructors, all of whom you can still rather creepily dress-up and customise.

A fun game that allows you to practice fitboxe at home, with a nice variety of contents and a great soundtrack.

Fitness Boxing 2 tries to replicate cardio box routines, but the game has some problems in movement detection and calories burnt. Even licensed music tracks are not original versions.

Ringfit Boxing 2 is a strange mix between WiiFt and Just Dance, but it works. Since you can't get out a lot nowadays, if you like training having a fitness app you can use and enjoy everywhere may be a good idea. Motion detection is quite accurate and the daily training program has a good variety of exercises. It won't last forever, but it should do its job until the lockdown ends.

This is a great exercise experience for Nintendo Switch that makes excellent use of its motion controls, although the game doesn't introduce quite enough changes to stand out from its predecessor.

Fitness Boxing 2 isn't a bad way to keep your body energised, but the few improvements it has loaded into its gloves can't hide its flawed punching technique or its disappointing lack of beats to bounce around to between uppercuts.

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise is more or less the same game as the first Fitness Boxing. But it adds a lot of customization options that were absent from the first game. It's just too bad that the game doesn't add new gameplay modes or more songs to exercise on. That being said, people looking for a fitness game could do a lot worse than giving Fitness Boxing 2 : Rhythm & Exercise a shot.

If you're looking for some exercise, Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise is a good option on the Nintendo Switch. With the Just Dance series stagnating, and Ring Fit Adventure expensive, this is a solid alternative. Even if you aren't a fan of boxing (I'm not), you'll be able to enjoy this sequel.

While Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise hosts a number of improvements that will complement your workout, there are a host of technical issues that make this a worse performing experience. If you can get past the underwhelming music and slight slowdown, however, you'll find a wonderful exercise program if you stick with it.

Fitness Boxing 2... presents a finely tuned and engaging workout regimen with clear goals and excellent feedback on progress. With its cast of annoyingly optimistic virtual instructors to spur you on through intense, demanding, and varied exercises, as well as a wealth of unlockables to inspire the budding achievement hunter, Fitness Boxing 2 provides a high quality niche experience that’ll have you jabbing, weaving, and blocking like a sweaty Rocky Balboa.

The routines and exercises of Fitness Boxing 2 are well thought out, but unfortunately there's a limit in the way it detects motion controls that may discourage lazy players to focus as much as they should, because they will still be rewarded with great scores anyway.

It's a better Wii Fit, in the sense that Fitness Boxing 2 trims the fat (ha!) that were the slow exercises and loading times. But much like Wii Fit, I cannot guarantee that it will maintain your interest for long or present enough new features over time. At the very least, you won't have to stow away a balance board in a closet somewhere after punching out.

Fitness Boxing 2 is a competent fitness program to workout every day. It's a pity that the moves are not correctly detected and that there are a few technical issues. I've been using Fitness Boxing 2 for a few months now though and am really satisfied with it.
