Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Reviews
Respawn delivers a good campaign with a great Star Wars story in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Fallen Order isn't original, but it's a fantastic romp any Star Wars fan should play.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is probably EA's best title in 2019. Engaging, fun and fluent, EA is back with a single player Star Wars after a few years of not showing interest in making this kind of games. Jedi Fallen Order is a mixture of all the good moments in games like Uncharted, Prince of Persia and Dark Souls and it's an epic comeback for Respawn studios.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an ambitious game that can perfectly deliver its promises. The amazing battle system makes swinging light sabers around really enjoyable and great storytelling and characterizations complete the fun.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is a game worthy of Star Wars name, and although it is released by EA, there is no sign of in-app purchases and there is no requirement to connect to the internet. It’s just a rich, deep, good old action adventure title that we don’t come across very often anymore.

There is nothing new or radical here. But as comforting popcorn gaming to indulge in while you wait for your trip to the pictures? Job done.
It is curious that this game clearly understands the strong aspects of the property on which it is based on, and in that spectrum it delivers a lot of personality, offering one of the best Star Wars adventures to date, but when it comes to gameplay and game design aspects, it has trouble deciding what it wants to be. Many influences are suited for the nature of the I.P as the decision to create maps with a great focus on exploration and implement bombastic action sequences, but the combat ended up suffering from inconsistency between excellent and mediocre aspects. In summary, Jedi: Fallen Order is a good game that establishes a strong base for Respawn to continue to improve and find its own identity for this sub-series.

It means Fallen Order feels functional rather than fantastic. It's a good but not great game that never really bothers even trying to be original, instead coasting by on the strength of its source material. But it treats that source material with such open love and affection that Star Wars fans will struggle not to get carried along on the ride, though those who aren't strong with the Force can probably get away with steering clear.
Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a great Star Wars game, but once players move past the story, they'll find a mediocre game.
Now EA knows what to do next.

A new hope is here, as Star Wars video games finally get the long-awaited return to form they deserve. The creators clearly care about the source material, and have produced a story and a setting that will hopefully continue being explored. There are some teething issues here, but there is much more promise. Respawn has created the first step on what could be a very bright future.
I would recommend Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to anyone who's even remotely familiar with the universe. There are plenty of Easter eggs and geek-out stuff for the fans (you can build a custom lightsaber!), and the gameplay is less about reinvention and more about refining pieces to fit the experience, which is what a lot of great art is built upon. If anything, this game made me feel like I did back in the 1990s, when I truly felt the Force in the game space for the first time. It's a special feeling, and I look forward to seeing where this path goes.
There's some significant problems, for sure – especially in level design and signposting – but we're confident that the developers could easily evolve beyond these hiccups in the future. The Star Wars gaming universe is in pretty safe hands with Respawn – provided EA keep giving the studio enough opportunities.
Fallen Order is powerful in ways that Star Wars hasn't been in video game form in over a decade.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is not "metroidvania with elements of Dark Souls" you wanted. It could be better, if not for the numerous technical problems and mediocre plot. Atmospheric and variable locations, good puzzles along with beautiful graphics can please fans of linear adventures, especially against the background of failed films and the lack of really good games based on Star Wars.

Respawn can seemingly do no wrong, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order easily becomes one of the best Star Wars game ever made.
Jedi: Fallen Order is a masterfully crafted game that more than makes up for the drought of single-player entries in the Star Wars franchise. With a honed balance of challenge and accomplishment, galaxy-spanning exploration, and a story set in the heart of the Star Wars saga, it's a must-have title for any fan.
The Star Wars spirit is strong with Fallen Order, and it came as close to making me feel the way I did when watching the original trilogy for the first time. However, unlike those movies, this one could use some post-release touch-ups.
Lastly, I have to mention the name, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. To me, it sounds like Star Wars Jedi could be a new line of games, with Fallen Order being just the first one. We can only dream.
