Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a great follow up to Rebellion's Zombie Army Trilogy. Everything not only looks better, but feels better and comes with tons of replayability.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War doesn't break new ground in the co-op zombie gauntlet genre, but it adds a few unique mechanics that make it fun to tackle the hordes.
An excellently-crafted shooter, especially with friends.
In its self-aware campiness and macabre action, there is a contagious confidence in Zombie Army 4 that will leave anyone who plays it a fan of this exciting co-op shooter.
Its enemies might be mindless but while it's very one note the gameplay in Zombie Army 4 offers some surprisingly engrossing co-operative action.
Mindless co-op shooters can be alluring and Zombie Army 4: Dead War tries be one of those brainless games, but ends up being more braindead instead.
If you like shooting zombies with friends, then Zombie Army 4: Dead War is the game for you. There's a few new twists and several layers of progression now thrown into the mix, as you battle undead Nazis once again, but this is classic undead sniping action through and through.
Zombie Army 4 improves in every way. It adds variety (campaign takes place in different cities with lots of secrets and objectives), deepens gameplay and it is extremely fun to play (solo or coop mode). Sadly, it still shows some technical issues.
