Core Keeper Reviews
A sprawling survival game in a beautiful subterranean world.
I’m not convinced Core Keeper can match the quality and scope of its best-in-class inspirations, but it’s already worth a look.
Core Keeper is a clever, challenging, and immensely enjoyable sandbox mining game that's a blast to play. You can completely change how you play for a new experience, there are a lot of bosses and areas to explore, and the joy of finding a new item or new area is never lost. If you like games in this genre, then you'll love it, and even if you don't like games in this genre, this could be the one that converts you.,
Core Keeper is a strong survival game that can easily chew through the hours, providing a great balance between adventure and homesteading. There's a sense that no idea was left out, whether that be a constant pet companion or minecart rail lines, and while these may not get fully fleshed out, this is a rare occasion where quantity manages to make up for depth. The pet levels up and sometimes enemies drop treats that give it a nice experience boost, and that's all it needs to do. Minecart goes on tracks, riding it beats walking and maybe it doesn't need a complicated system of switches and sidings to get the job done. The underground world of Core Keeper stretches on for functionally forever, filled with chasms, monsters, resources beyond measure and even an underground sea. There's a huge amount of ways to play with it all and sometimes that's more than enough.
Engaging and exciting, Core Keeper is a perfect example of development and creativity. In addition to keeping you completely glued to the screen, with 1.0 it dramatically increases the hours that someone could spend inside it, thus allowing the player passionate about video games of this caliber to lose track of time. The game design of the production is certainly the most alive and irrepressible part, as well as the world around the main character. In addition, I have given names to some animals within the production, which could please the colleagues of TGM.

Core Keeper is the perfect introduction to crafting games, setting a new standard in approachability for the genre through clever game design.
With the arrival of update 1.0, the Pugstorm team proves that the wait was worth it, expanding the Core Keeper experience with tons of content. A title that stands out for its combat system, boss fights, and everything we can build. It is a constant invitation to advance and discover what else is ahead. All accompanied by a very striking art style and a soundtrack that accompanies every moment.

I can easily see why Core Keeper is so very loved. The gameplay loop gets super addictive and the sheer amount of things to craft makes this game infinitely playable and infinitely customizable. It’s definitely a game that you can play for hours on end.
Core Keeper is not only exciting, addictive and fun but it is also a unique game

Core Keeper will be a lot of fun for players who’ve enjoyed past games like Stardew Valley, Terraria, and Minecraft since it draws from many of the popular mechanics in those games. There’s nothing entirely new in Core Keeper, just a rehashing of popular mechanics from other games. The only new thing that Core Keeper does is set the survival experience underground. Even still, players have been logging into Core Keeper to explore the underground and enjoy it.
