Monster Hunter Wilds Reviews
Monster Hunter Wilds is a decent follow-up to World, trying to become more accessible and perhaps taking it too far in some areas, and not far enough in others. While it can still deliver some exciting hunts, the disappointing visuals and performance, along with a repetitive quest design and dull story, make for an adventure that returning fans will enjoy more than newcomers.
Monster Hunter Wilds delivers an addictive experience from start to finish. Amazing combat, tens of amazing content and great monsters design all have contributed to its success. if you feel like slaying some monsters and embarking on a great adventure, you will have a blast playing Monster Hunter Wilds.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the natural evolution of Monster Hunter World, and is an early front-runner for Game of the Year. Fans and newbies alike will find a lot to like in Wilds.
Monster Hunter is back and it's brilliant. Giant beasts, juicy fights and lots of positive improvements. Capcom has proven that it knows how to listen to fan feedback to provide a game just for them. Monster Hunter Wilds is a game for loyal fans of hunting after giant creatures.

Monster Hunter Wilds is an incredible entry into the franchise that provides a fun and smooth gameplay loop and a beautiful world to explore and hunt in. It's Monster Hunter at its finest.
Monster Hunter Wilds is a fantastic new entry into the franchise. For the most part, I feel like every new feature feels good and works well, and the monsters are certainly a delight to fight. The only things that might hold it back slightly are some performance issues, but even those don't get in the way of the core fun of smashing monsters, looting gear, and repeating. Fans of the franchise should have a fantastic time with this latest entry, and I hope it becomes a blueprint for future games in the franchise.
Monster Hunter Wilds is a brilliant action role-playing game that progresses by challenging the player against a multitude of amazing bosses. Don't be afraid of the detailed gameplay systems, the complex appearance of some menus, the large number of items, or even the long and rich history of the series. Even if you have never experienced a single minute of any version of the Monster Hunter series before, Monster Hunter Wilds deserves a chance. To put it simply and put your mind at ease: Capcom has shone once again.

Monster Hunter Wilds is Capcom's next masterpiece and I can see it take the world by storm just like World did in 2018

It’s always fun to hunt a giant monster with your over the top weapons and Monster Hunter Wilds delivers that epic feeling most of the time (except for the low difficulty). It courageously aims for the high bar that MH World has been set up but can’t reach there. Yet.

Despite a shaky start, Monster Hunter Wilds delivered on the most important thing that matters in a Monster Hunter game: the core gameplay loop. The game is built on a solid foundation, and it is only going to get better from here. However, it needs to be said that the game still suffers from optimization issues to this day, two weeks after launch. Wilds will go down in history as a great Monster Hunter game. How great it ultimately will be remains to be seen. What I do know is that the game is a blast, and I can’t recommend it enough.
It may not change the minds of those who didn't love MHWorld, but Monster Hunter Wilds is the perfect and natural evolution of Capcom's greatest success and the definitive monster hunting game that absolutely should not be missing from every hunter's library.

My main gripe is that Monster Hunter Wilds plays too similarly to previous entries but there's still a lot to love including its thrilling hunts against creative monsters, weapon and build diversity, and, of course, the chance to pet Poogie. 🐖
Monster Hunter Wilds is the beginning of a new era for the legendary Capcom franchise: through its many and appreciated gameplay changes, its surprisingly interesting story and its wild variety in the monsters roster, Wilds manages to be a great game both for newcomers and returning fans. The main issue with the game lies in its flawed technical aspect, something you either have to overcome with a powerful machine or just ignore: while it's still certainly worth it, it's a cause for concern.

Though hampered by weak storytelling, diminishing combat depth, and technical flaws, Monster Hunter Wilds still delivers an unmatched hunt with its spectacular beasts and upgraded gameplay.

Monster Hunter: Wilds is a triumphant new entry. Whilst the story does have some issues with its writing and pacing issues it is one still worth paying attention to and once that’s done the game truly begins. With the same exceptional gameplay loop, we’ve come to love. There are a few rough edges but none of them stand in the way of Wilds just being my latest addiction.
Capcom went above and beyond to make most of the Monster Hunter Wilds experience as enjoyable as possible. I went into the game wanting it to be a slight increase from Monster Hunter World and was surprised by the revamped weapons, environmental depth, and enjoyable cast of characters. Gone are the days of wishing the handler would get eaten by a Ratholos. Monster Hunter Wilds may have a few issues with online play and menu navigation but they are more than outweighed by the addictive combat and customization.
Monster Hunter Wilds is a title that despite having serious performance problems tries to innovate the Monster Hunter formula by bringing a more developed plot that does not always manage to involve us as it should and a lower difficulty than usual, but balances with new designs of monsters that are extremely more elaborate and new mechanics that change our approach to hunting. In short, an excellent title that I trust can improve with the constant support of Capcom that has always guaranteed with the latest chapters of the series.

Monster Hunter Wilds is another refined and streamlined entry that will coax new fans into the real challenge - long-time hunters can still find some fun in the Forbidden Lands.
