All in all, what's here in Bright Memory Infinite is impressive, and the shooting feels super smooth throughout. However, even though the first Bright Memory was classed as a demo-of-sorts, Infinite still feels like an Xbox Series X|S tech demo, all things considered. It's still incredibly short at just two hours long, and the game's story, systems and world need more work for it to feel like a full game. We dig what's here, no doubt, but we were hoping Bright Memory Infinite would feel more like a full game than it ultimately does.

Bright Memory: Infinite has its moments, but in the end, it feels like a project that could have been great if it was developed by an entire team with all the necessary resources at their disposal.

Extremely short, with almost no story development and being a rather limited experience, Bright Memory: Infinite stands out for a good gameplay that may not be enough to justify its price.

If you have bought Bright Memory title in the past, this title is available for free and in this case I can say that it is definitely worth a one-time experience, but if you are thinking about buying this title, I recommend you to think more about it.

A product that looks more like a technical demo than a full and fun game.

Bright Memory: Infinite will go down as a largely impressive game held back by glaring shortfalls. The frenetic and uniquely compelling shooter/hack ‘n’ slash combat as well as the breathtakingly realistic visuals make for a worthy experience alone. Unfortunately, that narrative is told in a less than elegant way and the quick sprint to roll credits hold Infinite back from reaching its true potential.

Bright Memory Infinite is a disappointing follow-up to a prelude that made its share of promises. It's a shame because a polished expansion on the original concept would have had a certain cult appeal, whereas Infinite feels watered down. It's a pretty game, and best of all it's free for those who lashed out for the prelude, but in the end, it plays like a game that got spooked by its own shadow and is a result of improbable ambition.

While the length may be an issue, there is a flip side to it. Just as I was starting to tire of the guns and sword combo fest, it was over. It wasn’t long enough for me to get tired of its main selling points: the top-tier graphics and the chaotic combat. The visuals are stunning, granted, but the game takes place more or less across very similar environments, except for the gunfight on the wing of an airplane hurtling toward a black hole – Neil DeGrasse Tyson would pull that scene apart in a second. If the game ran for a further six hours but locked in with the linear locations I’d tire of it before the end. The combat, while being fun and encouraging experimentation, doesn’t have the depth to carry the game for much longer – I’m sure that by hour four I’d completely drop the melee side and just stick to running and gunning, and then it’s no different to most other shooters out there.

Bright Memory: Infinite is appealing and technically impressive shooter, that sadly a bit too short and lacks interesting plot or boss fights.

In Bright Memory: Infinite, a brief campaign doesn't keep the game from providing some above-average shooter excitement.

Bright Memory: Infinite offered a good experience, despite the many problems that appeares in the game, whether in terms of a meager story, which does not exceed two hours, or even the level of bad AI, the developers provided us with an enjoyable experience on The level of smooth gameplay and fast movement with visual and sound effects that outperform even games with large budgets, which makes us believe that the upcoming FYQD titles will be much better than this experience and they will overcome the errors that occurred in this title.

Bright Memory Infinite gets in its own way, and occasionally takes the focus off of its strongest quality: the core mechanics. I wish that Infinite was just a full extension of the action-packed prologue and was a little more polished, as it would be easier to recommend. If you can deal with that headache, you might like it.

Bright Memory: Infinite offers concise and frenetic thrills, but technical issues and that same brevity hold it back.

‎Bright Memory: Infinite isn't an especially good game in any sense. It has some technical problems, an empty history, and it's pretty short. But it offers a satisfying mix of fast shooting and dynamic action. The result is not entirely satisfactory, because of the limited nature of its proposal.‎

Despite the few technical and graphical issues, the action, controls, and epic, high-octane combos make for a truly enjoyable, yet frustrating short experience. If you are craving a solid FPS action game on your Nintendo Switch, you can't go wrong with Bright Memory: Infinite for the time being. Just make sure you're here for a good time, not a long time.

Bright Memory: Infinite proves that smaller games don't always have to forego high quality visuals, but at the same time it also demonstrates that looks aren't everything.

Bright Memory: Infinite looks incredible for a game from a small development team, and the core sword-and-gun gameplay is fun enough. However, everything surrounding those two elements feel unpolished and poorly thought-out. The incoherent story, the non-combat gameplay mechanics, and general lack of quality control drag down the entire thing. If you're looking for a quick and breezy shooter to tide you over for an afternoon, Infinite might be fun for you. Otherwise, there's nothing here that you can't see in videos that show off its rain-soaked beauty.

Gunplay, swordplay, and force pulls—what more could you want in an action first-person shooter? Bright Memory: Infinite is a passion project developed by a single person, promising cinematic thrills and phenomenal visual design. While the effort is commendable, other aspects end up in suspect quality.
