Disintegration Reviews
It's true that the weird combination of first-person shooter and strategy elements do work quite well in Disintegration, they're not as fun as one would expect (if anyone can expect that). Instead of having the best of both worlds, Disintegration puts itself in the position of potentially being hated by fans of both genres. Yes, the hybrid approach does work, but it's not entertaining enough to warrant a full playthrough. Here is hoping for a better sequel though.
It's hard to understand why this game exists – even its publisher didn't bother to market it. Multiplayer died almost instantly, and its single-player campaign is full of same-y missions and boring environments.

Disintegration aims to mix things up by adding RTS ingredients into the FPS genre but just like the Gravcycle you pilot, it fails to fly high.
Disintegration tried to come up with a new ideas and unique gameplay, while somehow it succeeded with that, it wasn't enough to make the overall experience enjoyable, as it came short in mostly everything else. Not to mention it's almost impossible to find multiplayer as of now, so you will not be able to get the full experience.

If you are down to try something new, Disintegration is worth a shot. With a 10-15 hour campaign and a decent multiplayer offering, there is something here for many to enjoy.
Disintegration offers a mix of FPS and RTS from Halo co-creator but it lacks fun and good gameplay.

Disintegration is a dull experiment. Taking shallow replicas of two genres and squeezing them together results in a largely forgettable game that can hardly even be considered a curiosity. The technical issues and average presentation don't help matters.
Unfortunately, Disintegration has not worked well in combining first-person shooter style with tactics and strategy.

Disintegration is a game of would-have-beens.
Disintegration’s fresh take on your usual FPS is fully realized in a single-player setting, yet its unique gameplay doesn’t feel all that fun in a more competitive setting.
There is much to like about this game. It’s a unique experience that few big studios are willing to take. Perhaps the game would have been better if it had a little more time to bake. We’ll never know. What I do know is that, at it’s best, the game’s a frantic tactical shooter with some moments of pure fun. Otherwise, it’s just another shooter from the perspective of a hoverbike. I still would recommend this game just for the novelty factor alone. Honestly, it’s not the worst sci-fi shooter out there, it just doesn’t do much to stand out besides being a little different.
Disintegration provides some of the best multiplayer action that I've ever played. At the same time, its single player campaign can be downright tedious and frustrating so I can only recommend it to those who enjoy competing online.
Disintegration a great game that tries new things and that should certainly be praised in a world full of sequels. The combination of a first-person shooter and real-time strategy game works well in general and is super cool to play with. Its difficulty is all over the place however, which can be a pain sometimes since the weapons don't have the weight you should be expecting.

Unfortunately, Private Division did not have times available for console reviewers to participate in the game's online segments. It's easy to see how the gameplay would lend itself to a strong online component, but it's impossible to say for certain without getting a chance to participate. Due to this, we have decided not to give the game a final review score right now. Disintegration's gameplay is enjoyable, but it's difficult to accurately judge what might actually release next week. Between the game's pre-release bugs and the inability to partake in multiplayer, our review remains incomplete. This review will be updated, however, once the game has launched.
Some good points for effort but in the end, it's an unpolished mix of a shooter and strategy that doesn't do either of those two well.
Disintegration intends to blend things up by including RTS fixings into the FPS class however simply like the Megacycle you pilot, it neglects to fly high.
Disintegration well combined two already established game genres, unfortunately it simply lacks something. Unlike a campaign, multiplayer will last you for a nice number of hours, which can to some extent be due to longer times while waiting for a connection. The game takes a recommendation for 7 points and I sincerely hope that we will see a sequel that would play more with the tactical elements of the game.

For a project with veteran people in the market, a small team, and being the studio's debut game, I think Disintegration was a good start for V1 Interactive but with points that deserve attention to please a larger audience. It also has a very cool science fiction narrative, with characters presenting strong and very characteristic personalities. I think it would even make a good series for Netflix. A new approach to gameplay mixing two very different genres, with a multiplayer mode which even if it doesn't have the best service, can improve, make this an interesting title for those who like new things..

Disintegration is a captivating title that presents a differentiated gameplay, capturing the essential of elements from first person shots in conjecture with the real time strategy genre. Presenting a solid control of the characters, we can easily manage all the elements on the battlefield, in the various missions that we are submitted to. Even though there is a feeling of waste in what concerns the proposed narrative, the experience in the global is rewarding and positive. In the multiplayer aspect, the title could risk more, thr available modes are just over simplified considering the possibilities that the game mechanics allow. It will still allow for a few hours of fun. Fundamentally, we feel that this title has a great premise that with sustained growth and in line with community feedback it could be a major series in the future.

Disintegration is solid, but incredibly uninspired. The gravcycle and squad gameplay that defines it works when it’s allowed to, but it suffers due to slow pacing in single-player mode. Its multiplayer is also just that; serviceable.
